3 month old AC
We had to replaced our old central unit with a new one and after getting bids from couple of local Heating and AC companies in San Antonio, Texas finally took the recemendation from Aramendia heating and air conditioning for $30,000 and with monthly payments of about $325.00.

Well job got started after two days and it took the entire day to gets completed, nice AC and very high tech which we weren't used to it, can control the system right off your phone and much more. In addition to that we were told that we would get $500.00 rebate from out local power service company (CPS).

We had this unit for about two and half month and have already made one payment and sent out the second payment which will be at their office in a day or two. On Saturday Augues 5th we visited our family and when we got home, the house was at 82 degrees and we had a error code on our thermostat saying er 184.07 and 184.08. So we called our dealer (Aramendia) which we were told that they can not come in today but they will put us on schedule for tomorrow and proceed to tell us the cost of visit? Explained to them that this is a two month old and it has a 10 years warranty according to sales person! and who sold us a unit that was much larger than our old unit and installer had hard time to installing this unit due to size of our space, and they had to modify the vent because of that. Operator responded that she can not see that they sold us any unit. But they still set us up for service on Sunday. I like to emphasize about the temperature in south Texas on August the we had excessive heat warning of over 105 degrees. So we had to go to hotel that night.

On Sunday and my wife stayed at home all day and the service tech finally showed up around 2 PM (today's temperature is 107) and after working on the unit for about 1 hour, he told my wife that they had to get in touch with Manufacturer (American Standard) because they had upgraded their system and downloaded program which effected over 70 customer in this area and they blamed the manufacturer. Well they had to reschedule the visit for the next day (Monday). One more night of hotel stay is getting old.

On Monday again my wife had to stay home, same as yesterday service tech ( the manger) showed up about same time as yesterday 2 PM (today's temperature is 105) and after working on the unit another hour and half, they had to reschedule the service for next day because they are in need of a chip from American Standard, and they will reschedule the completion the next day! (seriously?) Great one more night of staying at hotel.

On Tuesday as normal, wife stayed at home till 1:00 PM and then she left to go to our family to get out of the heat (today's temperature 107) and the service tech called around 1:30 saying he is on his way which my wife had to turn around come back home. Installer completed the job and the AC started working and it took 3 and half hours before our heated house to get down to comfort temperature of 79 degrees.

All these 3 days, Aramendia promised that they were going to bring a portable AC to accommodate the comfort but not a single day it took reality! and when I was talking to the Aramendia rep over the phone and explaining that we had to stay in hotel, she stated that who authorized they stay in hotel? I told her "me, myself and I" and she wouldn't stay in the house at these south Texas temperature either.

In meanwhile I have sent out email to American Standard which also know as "Train AC" and from their response back, I got the phone number and called them, spoke with rep who introduced her self by name of Dewily and she asked if the unit we purchased was it new or pre owned? I told her that we hope it was new, she replied that if the unit goes out within the firs 6 month, the company that we purchased it from must bring a new one and replace the unit and it should no be going out in that short period of time. But Aramendia did not honor that policy. And needless to say, on following Thursday after the repair, they called me and stated that I am behind payment! I explained to her that the first payment was sent directly from my bank and the second payment also should be there in day or two, also I asked her about our stay in hotel that need to be reimbursed either from Aramendia or American Standard, she told me that she will put that in the note and some one should get in touch with me, in addition she told me that she found the payment and she apologized about not seeing the note before calling me.

Well I like to have my stay at hotel to be refunded along with $40.00 per night for meal that we could not cook at home due to heat.

First night stay at WoodSpring suites in Universal city (what a dump) $82.62
Second night stay at La Quinta suites in Schertz $122.52
Third night stay at La Quinta suites in Schertz $136.85
Totaling charges of $461.99

On Sunday, February 11, 2018, we sent a technician to [redacted]' home for their concern of the system we installed in December 2014 not working properly. The customer has a heat pump system (electric) and was not keeping up due to 35 degree temperature and colder outside. The technician switched...

the thermostat to Emergency Heat so it would be more efficient. The customer called back and Aramendia's dispatcher set up a call for the next day for a different technician to go out. On February 12, 2018, the technician arrived with the system operating properly. Customer had changed the filter and agreed that it was working properly. The technician explained to the customer how the heat pump system works and when to use the Emergency Heat and the regular Heat settings. The customer was instructed to call if they have any more concerns.As of this time, we believe we have addressed and answered the customers concerns and taken care of them to their satisfaction.

foundation. The concrete pipe was replaced as part of “the approximate 95 foot” sewer line in the original contract. All work was permitted and inspected by the City of San Antonio and approved as “final” (copies included). [redacted] got everything agreed to at the agreed on price. I have no idea where she came up with “$6,000.00 disputed amount” which is ridiculous. The system in question was repaired on 05/27/2017 as per the manufacturers' specification. The paperwork required by the manufacturer after the system was started up and operating has bee submitted to the manufacturer as requested by Mr. [redacted] and by Rheem corporation. The system is fully...

operational at this time. This system was installed originally on 06/03/2013 and has a warranty that covers repairs on the equipment should a part fail. Aramendia has worked with Mr. [redacted] to correct his concerns and has honored all warranties promised.

We appreciate Ms. [redacted] concerns regarding our work at her home and the account with [redacted]. A plumber was out to her home on October 12, 2017 for a clogged sewer line. The plumber attempted to clear the line, but was unable to fully restore flow due to a possible separation in the line....

Estimates were given for 2 options for repairs. Please see attached invoice [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] signed the invoice authorizing the work and also accepting that the work was performed to her satisfaction. She was offered financing as an option to pay for the estimated repairs and signed the [redacted] Home Projects Credit Card Account Application authorizing Aramendia to submit it for approval. Please see the signed account application. There was never an amount charged to the account since Ms. [redacted] did not authorize any repairs to be performed. We have not been back out to her home since October 12, 2017. Copies of both documents were left with Ms. [redacted] at the time of service.   Aramendia Plumbing Heating & Air is a reputable company that has been in business for almost 30 years and we would never knowingly try to take advantage of our customers or commit fraud in any way. We will not be performing any future work at Ms. [redacted] home for free. Should Ms. [redacted] feel comfortable to have us back out to the home to make the repairs and use the [redacted] account that she applied for, we are happy to assist.

To Whom It May Concern,Freon loss is not covered under warranty. By allowing another company to replace the unit, the labor warranty purchased was voided and therefore, labor is not covered under warranty either.As a gesture of good faith, we would like to issue a $200.00 refund on the freon charge....
