Arbor Lawn's crew damaged my home. The owner/manager promised to refund $400 as compensation, but they are now evading me.On April 23, 2014 Arbor Lawn cut and removed three trees near my house. Their work crew damaged the metal shield/housing and anchor for the electric cables on the side of my house. An electrician provided an estimate of $635 to repair the damage. On May 1, 2014, we agreed to this settlement: Arbor Lawn would pay me $400 to compensate for the damage. (Note: the reason I agreed to a $400 compensation was because about one-third of the electrician's work was related to replacing aged cables. This work needed to be done, but was not a result of the damage caused by Arbor Lawn. So, we agreed that $400 was a fair settlement.) Arbor Lawn confirmed this agreement in an email sent to me on May 1, 2014. The electrician completed the work on June 4, 2014, and the actual cost of the work was $585. I sent a copy of the paid invoice to Arbor Lawn via email, and they did not respond. Since then, I have sent three more reminders, and I left a voice mail, but they still have not responded.Desired SettlementI would like Arbor Lawn to refund $400 as compensation for the damage done to my home, as we originally agreed on May 1, 2014.

Fraudulent service including property damage, failure to provide wood chips and replacement shrubs as agreed. Arbor Lawn was hired to remove 6 trees and stumps for $1,750 in March 2014. The owner promised to repair any damage to driveway and the price included me keeping some of the wood for firewood and as much of the wood chips as I wanted. Trees and stumps were removed on Sunday instead of Saturday as we had agreed. Extensive damage was caused to driveways and natural areas of yard. Repair work was minimal. Owner stated he could not dump woodchips at the time but would return with a half load of chips as well as replacement shrubs for two plants that were damaged. None were delivered. As of June 2014 adn after numerous phone calls requesting fulfillment of the wood chip and shrub delivery, I have heard nothing from Arbor Lawn.I've had to purchase woodchips and replacement plants myself and am seeking a partial refund.Desired SettlementPartial refund for my cost of 5 cubic yards of wood chips, two ornamental shrubs, and delivery. Cost of approximately $300.
