01/02/ I have not received any more bills from them since they sent that reply letter to Revdex.com dated September 29, 2017, that they did not want to settle and the $bill would be turned over to collections if not paidSince then, very bad news; the tree has died and I have an estimate it will cost $3,to remove Previous to contacting them for an estimate, I noticed some dead branches and wondered if I should give this tree some nutrientsMy lawn service company had one of their guys or someone they know look at it and he did not think I needed to do anything to it Arbor Mgmtended up scalping this treeI wanted to be there when they did the job (my home is only minutes from my work) but I can't say I ever told them thatYes, I also realize their estimate says that in addition to deadwooding, reduction of other limbs could be done Yet, I was sure I would be able to be there when they did the job and would have told them dead limbs only for that tree They promised to be there between and 12, I waited till 11:52, went back to work and then headed back over after I got the next text they were en route By the time I got there, the damage had been done (I think they must have already been there or were very close when the second text was sent saying they were en route as it did not take me long to get there and they had already done a lot of limb removal)On the Japanese Maple, they left a mess - did not clean up O.K, with the tree having died, I'll consider my options as it dying changes things1)Do nothing and close the complaint now and see if they sue (and I will counter sue), 2)have you contact them and tell them I will drop the dead tree claim if they will wipe out their bill, or 3)pay somethingTalk to you in a day or two thenUnderstand you expect them to discuss the estimate they gave mentioned limb reduction in addition to deadwood removal and nothing in writing I needed to be there before they started cutting, but, believe their emails and texts allowed me to rely that I would be there when they wereThanks.01/08/ Well, I'm a little better prepared for talking about this now, but, still not sure which of my three options we discussed last time I want to do The $doesn't concern me that much as the loss of the tree itself and the shade, etc Maybe they have forgotten about this and wrote it off Understand you cannot leave a complaint open with inactivity too long, but, not sure if I want to contact them soon and open things back up, or just let Revdex.com close this without contacting them and see what happens O.K,, let's think on this and touch base again the end of the weekThanks.01/16/ Well, I have been considering these optionsIt has been since September and I have not gotten a bill nor heard from a collection agencyI understand I could just close the complaint and that I and the business will get a letter about that; also understand you are willing to contact them and see where they are on this (but perhaps I should let sleeping dogs lie) What do you suggest? O.k,, understand it is my complaint, my decision, and you will take whichever action I choose - that contacting them would at least let me know if they had decided to forget this or still expect paymentWell, since I could reopen the complaint if they try something after I close it, I believe I'll just forget pursuing the complaint at this time so go ahead and close itThanks for going over this matter with me

01/02/2018   I have not received any more bills from them since they sent that reply letter to Revdex.com dated September 29, 2017, that they did not want to settle and the $825.00 bill would be turned over to collections if not paid. Since then, very bad news; the tree has died and I have an estimate it will cost $3,000.00 to remove.  Previous to contacting them for an estimate, I noticed some dead branches and wondered if I should give this tree some nutrients. My lawn service company had one of their guys or someone they know look at it and he did not think I needed to do anything to it.  Arbor Mgmt. ended up scalping this tree. I wanted to be there when they did the job (my home is only 10 minutes from my work) but I can't say I ever told them that. Yes, I also realize their estimate says that in addition to deadwooding, reduction of other limbs could be done.  Yet, I was sure I would be able to be there when they did the job and would have told them dead limbs only for that tree.  They promised to be there between 11 and 12, I waited till 11:52, went back to work and then headed back over after I got the next text they were en route.  By the time I got there, the damage had been done (I think they must have already been there or were very close when the second text was sent saying they were en route as it did not take me long to get there and they had already done a lot of limb removal). On the Japanese Maple, they left a mess - did not clean up.  O.K, with the tree having died, I'll consider my options as it dying changes things. 1). Do nothing and close the complaint now and see if they sue (and I will counter sue), 2). have you contact them and tell them I will drop the dead tree claim if they will wipe out their bill, or 3). pay something. Talk to you in a day or two then. Understand you expect them to discuss the estimate they gave mentioned limb reduction in addition to deadwood removal and nothing in writing I needed to be there before they started cutting, but, believe their emails and texts allowed me to rely that I would be there when they were. Thanks.01/08/2018  Well, I'm a little better prepared for talking about this now, but, still not sure which of my three options we discussed last time I want to do.  The $825.00 doesn't concern me that much as the loss of the tree itself and the shade, etc.  Maybe they have forgotten about this and wrote it off.  Understand you cannot leave a complaint open with inactivity too long, but, not sure if I want to contact them soon and open things back up, or just let Revdex.com close this without contacting them  and see what happens.  O.K,, let's think on this and touch base again the end of the week. Thanks.01/16/2018   Well, I have been considering these 3 options. It has been since September and I have not gotten a bill nor heard from a collection agency. I understand I could just close the complaint and that I and the business will get a letter about that; also understand you are willing to contact them and see where they are on this (but perhaps I should let sleeping dogs lie).  What do you suggest?  O.k,, understand it is my complaint, my decision, and you will take whichever action I choose - that contacting them would at least let me know if they had decided to forget this or still expect payment. Well, since I could reopen the complaint if they try something after I close it, I believe I'll just forget pursuing the complaint at this time so go ahead and close it. Thanks for going over this matter with me.

Written contract to do work for $400. Individually scammed my wife and me out of $300 by agreeing to leave tools in my garage as collateral. No work whatsoever has been done. Creative excuses for not doing work such as "another emergency job," "critical tool left on another job," and "bitten by a dog."
