Business responded to complaint. ARC home improvements Belden Ave Cleveland Ohio 44111I am responding to the complaint filed on me The first thing I would like to address is the price was $not $and his dates when he said he talked to me are wrong and
didn't say anything about me coming back out or the fact that I would come back again and that both times I wasthere we ran a water hose on the roof for at least minutes and there was no leaking 7/he called went out evaluated the roof explained that there was no visible damage to the roof Had a man on the roof and one in the attic pin pointed area remove shingles from the area install ice guard and shingles ran water hose no leaking 8/he called and said that the roof was leaking in the same spot we went on roof and in attic repaired different area was not same spot then ran water hose on roof again for minutes no leaking 9/he called said roof was leaking again I told him that I would come back out and try again but it would be at least a week I told him to text me his imfo he did 10/he filed complaint I have tried to resolve issue have not ignored or neglected the customer I do feel that when I ran water hose on the roof both times and it never leaks and the length of time in between the calls about the leaks Being that we have had above average rainfall doesn't add up And his dates and pricing are wrong He also failed to say that I already came back out and from 9/to10/he has got it fixed correctly when it took him almost months to call me and say that it's leaking again If you have any questions please call George D*** @- -

Business sent the following response:Second responseI first stated I have been in contact with him and was willing to come back outThat's when he supposingly hired another roofer his choice I was willing to come back out. I also said price was $again that was the price not $with a cash discountHis amount and his dates were wrong it doesn't add up also it was a vary wet summer again you can look that up also if you remove shingles and felt to locate leak it is actually above and beyond using ice and water shield rather than felt which is cheaper also when you free up shingles on a roof to locate a leak you break the seal on the tar line which will never seal together again that is why you use tar to reseal them back together so wind don't blow them up so as far as that expanding and contracting and causing more problems not true Also again he didn't say anything about me coming back out or that I ran a water hose on roof both times and that would be a very hard rain with one guy on roof one at door one in attic I have tried to make several attempts to solve a leak that doesn't leak with water hose on the roof and still was willing to come back out I don't believe with the inconsistent story and dates and the fact that it never leaked when we were there and we offered still to come back a third time and was not given that chance he is trying to say that I ignored his calls as per my track record you can obviously tell that is never been the case I am sorry that this is where we are atI try to satisfy all my customers and have and was still willingI was going above and beyond

As a supplier to NSolutions for the past year I have found that this company and it's employees are operationally sound and very easy to work with Nseems to have a knowledgeable staff and a management team that exceeds expectations in customer service

This business response was received by Revdex.com staff member AH, it is a copy/paste.In Response to complaintI would like to first Address the fact that  6 years after roof was installed and out of( warrantee I still came over to take care of any leaks at no charge  )I  was called saying...

her chimney was leaking I went inside looked at stains ,went on roof inspected roof and chimney flashing  every thing looked good that I did not see any areas where water could be getting in if so I would take care of it. then informed her that her mortar was bad as I had told her husband in 2012 and took picture of moisture around top of chimney and said it was a possible on hard rains water was seeping in and with here chimney needing tuck pointed anyway we could put a cap on it and eliminate that possibility.( the roof has not leaked in 6 years and had no problems not having a flue liner all these years) we went back every time she called and said here roof was leaking (3 times) and as you can see in her words we came immediately then on the last call she started talking about her boiler she has been having trouble with and how expensive it was. Saying that roof was leaking still. so after sending my guys over a once again immediately they inspected roof and they called me because once again found no issues. we never told her she needed a flue liner and don’t know if  that will solve her problems. She stated her boiler was bad and it was going to around $7,000 dollars, Then she called swearing nasty and vulgar things at me could not speak at all hung up and she called back doing same thing. I tried to speak she kept going and going.(She keeps saying over and over again about me taking advantage of  her being a grieving widow and single mother of a disabled child )I have been responsive in every aspect of the word every time she has called and went above and beyond to try to be there for her and her issues. And feel that she has run into expenses  and issues with and old house that comes with it and her boiler was and may be the issue and she is trying to recoup moneys to pay for it. Anybody trying to take advantage of a person does not keep coming back again and again at no charge.She has went all over the internet and defamation of my name and my reputation She has caused irrevocable damage to my personal name and my business name.

I'm with a Hose company that sells hose to N2 Solutions,LLC and they're a pleasure to do business with.
All of the employees have been very professional and are knowledgeable about the equipment they represent.
And most important to me is that they are good about paying invoices.

I have added pics of her chimney and cap she had on before I did the work that shows all the moisture in the chimney. so she can not say my cap is causing her moisture issues and she now is saying that I said the chimney flashing instead of the mortar she also said that she is getting different solutions  from all the different  contractors and the reason is its her boiler issue that's why she does not want to except my reasonable offer to come over and run a water hose on the roof because its not leaking   I want to also state that she is trying to say the all the contractors are saying that I ripped her off which if that's the case why is her estimate to replace the flashing on chimney is over $1,000 dollars which is easier than grinding out and tuck pointing a chimney its because I did not over charge and work was complete and I was vary responsive to every time she called and have been willing to come back. at first she said I over charged then she said I told her she needed a flue liner then said it was the flashing now she saying its the chimney cap what next !!! I don't know what she wants besides money but like I said I am willing to come like I have every other time

First and foremost the leak was in the exact same spot ! As George knows I had to remove some drywall from ceiling that was damaged and leak reappeared at exactly the same spot ..this is not even debateable as we could see up into attic and watch it drip. George himself admits in his reply that he used ice guard to patch the hole ,as I stated in my complaint ,two reputeable roofers have said this was wrong , and they both said  caulking down shingles is completely unacceptable ,as they contract and expand with the weather and he more than likely caused me problems in the future by doing this. George never returned my calls after I had a conversation and tried to explain how he was payed to fix a leak and didn'tdo it, which is how a service business works .customer pays for a job then job is completed = pretty straight forward.George did mention how more money would probably be needed to do job again ..and when I suggested NO.......I never heard from him again.An expensive  lesson was learned here ,NEVER deal in cash for a discounted price and get personal references first not internet ratings. And yes I do stand corrected after talking to my wife it was $450 cash not $500  I believe I confused the cash  discount (450)with the (500) regular price . I just wish he had done the right thing and told me he didn't know how to fix the leak properly .and yes george there was a 6 week period between the leak reappearing ..it was the dead of summer and we had almost No Rain and when we did it was very light ,the first heavy rain and it leaked  !! and you knew that per our conversations .
