Review: I THOUGHT THE SERVICE ALL WOULD BE UNDER WARRENTY, I GAVE THEM A CHECK AND ASK THEM TO HOLD IT UNTIL I GOT THIS WORKED OUT, HE CASHED THE CHECK AND WILL NOT RETURN ANY OF MY CALLS.Desired Settlement: I WANT MY MONEY BACK UNTIL IT IS WORKED OUT.

Review: On October 10, my electric stove malfunctioned. One of the burners turned itself on and heated to the maximum setting. The only way to turn it off is to shut off the power from the breaker panel. I contacted the manufacturer (**) who put me in contact with ARC as a licensed ** repair center. The technician arrived the following Tuesday (15th). Upon inspection, he told me that the problem is covered by a recall from November 2012 and I was to contact [redacted] recall hotline. When I called ** to report the issue, they said they would be able to send the part to the repair center within 3-5 business days and that their office would contact me to set up the repair appointment once the part was on-hand. On the following Thursday (24th), I received a call from the ARC technician asking if I was at the house to let him in. I had yet to receive a call from their office to set an appointment, so I was unable to leave work to handle the issue. I called ARC the next day to resolve the communication problem. ARC said they were having issues with [redacted] repair notification system, but that they could have someone out to fix the stove the following Thursday (31st). When the technician called on the 31st to make sure someone was home, he was completely unaware that a part was required to complete the service request. When he called his supervisor to resolve the issue, he found out that there was no part on-hand to fix the stove. At this point, I called off the service appointment (obviously) and called ** demanding to speak to a supervisor. I was put in touch with a customer service executive who said she would handle the issue personally. She would call ARC and instruct them on exactly what to do to make sure the part arrived as quickly as possible and that they would call me within 3-5 business days to set another appointment. I called ARC on the 6th to see if the part had arrived, knowing I would be out of town from the 7th to the 10th. No one answered the phone. I left a message for them to call me back. I also called on the 7th and 8th with the same result...no one answered the phone. I called on the 11th and 12th once I was back in town, also with the same result. So, I called [redacted] customer service exec to find out the status of the part. They were also unable to contact ARC. So, they rescinded the service request through ARC and handed my case over to another repair center, who called me back within 2 hours to verify the service request and to let me know that the part would be in by Friday (15th). According to ARC's website, this kind of treatment is the reason the owner started the business in the first place, because he was tired of seeing customers treated poorly. I would say they have forgotten their mission statement.Desired Settlement: All I want is for someone from ARC (preferably not [redacted], since she's the one I was supposed to be calling) to contact me and admit that they made several mistakes in handling my service request. I would also like the Revdex.com to issue a warning to other consumers not to use this business, if possible.

Review: On 3/13/2014 [redacted] from ARC Service, LLC came to the house to repair the refrigerator for my elderly parents. He did a service on the machine and told them the price for that day was $185.50. He did not leave a bill but said he would e-mail me one since my parents do not use e-mail. they paid him and I later received an e-mail receipt. It included a service charge and also a deposit for the part. It did not include the senior citizen discount that they advertize and was discussed. We did not hear from them and finally called them and was told that they were coming back to finish the repair. We were told that they would be back on 3/31 and did not show up that day. They ended up showing up on 4/1 the next day. I was not at their house that day and did not hear from the technician. After the fact I heard that he had come by and charged my parents. I received an e-mail that the order was complete. I was told a few days later that the machine was not working. I called ARC to find out what was done on the second call. I left them a message asking them to call me. I also replied to their last e-mail receipt asking them to call me. I never got a return call. I think that my parents had their care takers calling also but I called until April 7th, when I called and told them that I do not know if they are out of business or what and I am going to start doing what I need to do, if it was to contact Revdex.com, or a lawyer, or [redacted], but I needed to get the refrigerator fixed. The next day I got an e-mail in all CAPs telling me they are a small business and I should not be threatening them. The e-mail also said that they would be out that afternoon. They did not show up. The following day, Wednesday April 9th, I called [redacted] to ask for their help. [redacted] called ARC to ask them to come out. They stated that someone would come that afternoon. They did not show up. The gentleman from [redacted] called me the following day, Thursday and I told him no one showed up on Wednesday. He called ARC and was told that they did not make it on Wednesday and the technician tried to come out on Thursday and no one was home. That is not true, someone was at the house. He then scheduled someone for Friday. When no one showed up on Friday I called [redacted] who called ARC. ARC told [redacted] that the truck broke down that was why no one showed up and that there was only 3 calls on Saturday and someone would show up between 9 and 12. I made sure someone was there. Having someone at the house at all times has been hard since my mother has been in the hospital. Since Monday of this week ARC has not been answering the phone or returning phone calls from myself, any of my parent's care takers or from [redacted]. Again I am not sure if they are out of business, or just not capable to do the repairs. We have been having to buy ice and since it seems that ARC is not going to repair the refrigerator then we need to get someone else to do it. Since we are going to have to pay someone all over again, including the diagnosis then I would like a complete refund.Desired Settlement: I have been more than generous in giving ARC time to fix the problem. Since we are going to have to pay someone all over again, including the diagnosis then I would like a complete refund. The amount we have paid is $185.58 on 3/13/14 and $176.13 on 4/1/14

Review: On Thursday, Feb. 21,2014, [redacted], the [redacted] of of ARC Service LLC came to look at our non-functional [redacted] washing machine and pronounced that the problem was a faulty electronic control board. At that time, we were told that the part would cost $234.59, and that he could install it after it arrived in two to three days. [redacted] also told my wife that he would call her the next day with a progress report. We did not hear from [redacted] the next day, or for the next week, but it was evident that the check we had written him had been cashed on Monday, Feb 24. On Thursday, Feb. 27, I called ARC Services to see why there was a delay, and ask why [redacted] had not contacted us. I was told by a woman who answered the phone that the part would take three weeks to arrive and that the delay was due to software upgrades to the electronic control board by the manufacturer ([redacted]?). I requested that [redacted] contact us for an explanation of this delay. During the following six days we never heard back from ARC Service LLC, or [redacted], even though we called and left multiple messages on his office/home phone and personal cell phone. Based on their seemingly intentional lack of response, we do not believe that [redacted]/ARC Service intends to repair our washing machine and we think [redacted] has absconded with our parts money.Desired Settlement: We would like a full refund of the money we paid ARC Service LLC. for the electronic control board that was never supplied in addition to $100 for the time and aggravation we have had to go through in trying to get a response/service from this company as well as the money we have spent traveling to a laundromat to wash our clothes in the time since our washing machine was supposed to have been repaired.

Review: You were hired by my warranty company to fix my stove. You were contacted Sept.25. You came out Oct 2, 2013 and made a diagnosis. You sent an email stating what the issue was and that it needed a part. I called Oct.20th to be informed that the status of my repair was still in research. [redacted] was going to call the owner and get back with me about why nothing had been done. She never called. I have called on multiple occasions and left messages. No one has returned my call. My warranty company has called them also and they too have not had the phone answered.Desired Settlement: I would like my oven repaired ASAP.

Review: On December 31, 2010 I purchased a [redacted] dishwasher from [redacted]. At the same time, I took out [redacted] Extended Protection Plan. On May 1st, my dishwasher *topped pumping the water out. On May 2nd I called [redacted] Service Advantage and thats when my problems began. An appointment was set for the next day and I thought Great. The next day, the service provider called and said he other things to do, that he knew what was wrong and he would order the part and fix the machine on May 14th. He never showed or called and I started trying to get some answers from [redacted] Service Advantage and the local [redacted] sore.Enter ARC Service. After two week* of no response from the first service provider, [redacted] assigned ARC Service. I had to start all over again with a diagnostic service call on May 20th from ARC. The serviceman showed up, diagnosed the problem, and even removed the two week old water from the machine. That was the last I heard from him. After 5 phone messages and one email, they still have not responded with a scheduled repair date. This week will be four weeks since their man made his initial diagnosis. Friday June 7th [redacted] called to tell me that ARC had the parts and would call that morning to set up a time to do the repairs. I have not heard from them.ARC does not communicate or follow through on their service.Desired Settlement: Dishwasher repaired.

This complaint has been resolved after six weeks of trying.

Review: On October 15th, my [redacted] washer broke. Just the locking mechanism, nothing too big or too hard to fix. We contacted [redacted] since our washer was still under warranty. There was an appointment set up by [redacted] for the 21st using a local company by the name of ARC Services. I was told that someone would be there by 5 pm on the 21st to fix the washer. The 21st came and went, and no one ever showed up. I called [redacted] again, and at that point I had also gotten the phone number for ARC and was in contact with them as well. I was told they had to order the part and I would have to wait an additional 3 days for the part to come in, so another appointment was set up for Friday the 25th. Again I was told someone would be there by the end of the day (wasn't given a specific time). And again.. the 25th came and went, and no one showed up. And just like the first time, I never received a phone call letting me know that no one was gonna be able to come out. At this point, [redacted] was doing their best to try to accommodate us. Because of the issues with ARC services, [redacted] extended our warranty an additional year, free of charge. I was unable to get in touch with ARC that day, so I waited until Monday the 28th to try to call ARC again and get something set up. Monday morning, I spent several hours calling the business's number in an attempt to get someone on the phone. I have never known a business to neglect answering their phone the way ARC services does. I took several hours, calling every 10-15 minutes, trying to get someone on the phone to no avail. I got in touch with [redacted], who then called ARC themselves in a conference call, took several tries but we were finally able to get someone on the phone. At that point, the woman through ARC that I had been in contact with, [redacted], made a less than half-hearted apology and assured me someone would DEFINITELY be at my house on the 30th, before noon, to fix my washer. During this conference call, I was given several excuses as to why my washer was not fixed. One of which was that they actually had to abruptly change distributors in the middle of their appointments. Another excuse was that one of the servicemen was let go from the company and they had to reschedule all their appointments for different times. At this point, I was extremely frustrated at the fact that my washer was still unfixed after more than a week of waiting, my appointments were getting reschedule, and ARC was not even calling me to let me know this. Not to mention, every time I tried calling them, it took several attempts, sometimes even hours, to get anyone to answer the phone. Having been assured that someone would be coming on the 30th, I took the day off from work so I would be home when they came to fix my washer. At this point my washer had been broken for exactly 2 weeks. As a parent of a 3 year old little boy who is currently potty training, and I myself working a full time job, 2 weeks with no washer, no clean clothes, and little money to pack my son and our clothes up to go find a place to wash our clothes, I was BEYOND frustrated. I sat at home all day on the 30th, afraid to go anywhere, waiting for the serviceman to show up. At about 1 pm (an hour after someone should have been there) I called ARC again to find out why no one had shown up. And again, after SEVERAL attempts, I was finally able to get [redacted] on the phone. She then told me that I had been rescheduled for Monday the 4th. I was given no reason as to why no one had shown up. At this point, I was livid. Had I not called to find out what was going on, I would have continued to sit there assuming someone was still coming, because they would not have even called me to let me know that my appointment had been rescheduled. After I was told that I was rescheduled, I hung the phone up and didn't call back. I didn't feel it was wise to continue to talk to the woman as angry as I was at that point. I waited the Friday the 1st and called them again. And again, it took about 10 tries before I was able to get someone on the phone. I requested that someone come out THAT DAY to fix my washer, and was told that that was gonna be impossible, but I was assured again someone would be out on Monday the 4th to fix my washer. I asked for a specific time and was told that I was second on the list and someone would be here no later than 10 am. Today is the 4th. I took the day off again to be sure that I would be here. It is now 12:30 and still no one has shown up. I called at 11 am to double check that someone was in fact coming out today. Friday I was second on the list and someone would be here by 10. When I called at 11, [redacted] told me that I had been moved to 3rd on the list and that the guy would be at my house within the next 30 minutes. Again, sitting here after taking the day off from work (which I really couldn't afford to do), 12:30 pm and no one has shown up. I just called back and demanded to speak to the [redacted] or owner, whoever the highest management in the office is. Now, this is not the first time I had requested to speak to the [redacted], and every time I have requested, today included, I am told that he is busy and that he will call me back. I just now told them that I would hold until he was free to talk to me. After saying that I was told he wasn't even in the office and that they would have him call me when he was available to. In two day my washer will have been broken for 3 weeks. I am DONE with this company and I NEED my washer fixed. The customer service is unbelievably horrible. Between the excuses, the failure to answer their business phone, their failure to come out and fix my washer, and their failure to communicate with me when no one is gonna show up or I have been rescheduled for a different time. I have never in my life dealt with a company who cares so little for their company and customers.Desired Settlement: All I want is for someone to come out and fix my washer. It is simply a locking mechanism and I know for a fact that it doesn't take that long to fix. As soon as my washer is fix, I want nothing more to do with this company ever again. I am tired of taking days off from work for no one to show up. I am tired of being rescheduled with no notice or reason. I have taken days off from work that I cannot afford to take. I have had to use gas that I don't have to go to other places to wash mine and my son's clothes, and have even had to compensate those people who have been kind enough to let me use their washer and dryer. I am a mother of a 3 year old little boy working a retail job that pays little to none. I have bills to pay and really don't have money to take my clothes to a laundromat to washer, or to compensate people for allowing me to use their appliances. I want my washer fixed ASAP. I am tired of waiting. It should not take 3 weeks to come out and fix a washer for something as little as replacing the locking mechanism.
