DO NOT EVER SEND THESE THIEVES YOUR MONEY!!! This place is a disaster. I can't say if they are maliciously misleading the public to get business or if they are just SOOO backwoods that they believe they have a nice place, but the website is not a real depiction of this [redacted] hole and ANY positive reviews would have to be falsified by the employees. No one will give this s positive review!
We booked this "Rustic" cabin for a week in June 2014 and upon arrival were sadly disappointed. The month leading up to our visit was also a disaster since part of the package was their "concierge" service which is supposed to book all of our shows and activities for us...No doubt because they all get kickbacks for each ticket, like any travel agent would.
Needless to say, this was a disaster too. The cabin was condemnable and would never get a certificate of occupancy anywhere in the country, not even Missouri!
They have been promising for 2 months to reimburse us for half our trip and keep lying about that to us. [redacted] sounds friendly but don't be fooled!
My family was so upset and disappointed in this situation we had to leave after 12 agonizing hours on a couch covered in crumbs, a bed that had blood on it and full of hairs and the house was full of bugs. The place was so dirty inside we wouldn't take our shoes off!
There was no air conditioning so they put in two window units that didn't do much. The kitchen was a fire hazard. No TV...NO WIFI...NO Radio...Exposed Electrical Wiresâ¦This was all after my wife almost stepped on a snake while walking into the cabin the first night.
Everything, including the pool, docks, yards, and cabins were all VERY POORLY maintained if not usable at all!
The only Godsend was that they did not eat us after the sun went down! HOTEL [redacted] was more inviting!
Good Luck Arcadia Coves! With a business model like that it won't be long now before you too are homeless! You should be ashamed of yourselves! Branson is a very Veteran Friendly area of the country...BUT Kirbyville is not!
