Arcadia Solar works for Sunrun Solar. On average once they get the order from Sunrun Solar it takes 3-5 business days for them to have a tech contact you and then who knows how long to come out and make the repair. It the 6 months that I have owned The Sunrun system, it has gone out 3 times. Once for over a month the last time for 2 weeks and this time for about 2 weeks by the time they get around to coming out. I am still paying over $200 a month for electic on an 1800SF single level townhouse with 24 solar panels on top. Whatever you do, do not work with either company

Mrs. leases her system through SunRun and with that lease SunRun monitors her system and provides her with a power production guarantee that ensures she will receive a certain level of production each year. Based on the agreement SunRun has with the Customer, they will inform us when they identify an issue with the Customer’s system and request that we follow the service call process they have in place. This process includes us working with the manufacturer to service and/or replace the warrantied parts.
Arcadia received the SunRun Service Request on 10/29 and was in the midst of running diagnostics for Mrs.' system when she called in on 10/30. Unfortunately, the issues in the past with Mrs.' system has been with her inverter, which requires us to work with the manufacturer since it is under warranty. Due to Mrs.' previous inverter issues and how long the manufacturer had taken each time we decided we would not go through the normal replacement process. Instead, we purchased the inverter out of pocket from a local vendor and installed the new inverter on 11/1 so Mrs. didn't have to wait and our company would handle the returns with the manufacturer on the back end. In addition to completing the service call, we also assisted Mrs. with getting set up with a monitoring system that was not available at the time that she got her system but would now allow her to also monitor the system and we encouraged her to call us directly if she has any issues in the future. When speaking with our Customer Experience Manager Mrs. acknowledged that she was happy with the end result of the service call but was still frustrated with SunRun.

- No 2 stage pool pump installation - several texts have gone back and forth but no action taken by Arcadia to resolve as of date of complaint.
- Watt Wise appointment for installation of thermostats not available till Sept 11, 30 days plus after activation of system. May also be part of Watt Wise, but was promised that attic would also be sealed off (caulking for any places where ducts, screws, and potential leaks are sealed and solar installation area checked from attic side to make sure that there are no protrusions where leaks may occur). No one from solar company has been in attic since installation. Unable to monitor solar output except through SRP site.
- Was under contract with another solar company when Arcadia knocked on my door on May 17, 2019. At that time Arcadia insisted that they would pay any cancellation fees (was main part of their sales pitch since I told them I already had contract at that time for solar installation). Now Arcadia is refusing to pay cancellation ($5340), because they say I did not owe it. Attorney I contacted informed me that these were enforceable charges and could accrue collections and interest fees.
- System is underperforming. Only seeing a max of 4 kwph and only around 30 kwh per day at most (using SRP site). Energy usage report (on that same site) from last year shows that we are not using more energy. Also ran through this with SRP representative. So either system is not performing correctly, or else output was grossly miscalculated for savings projections. This is consistent with another complaint that I see for this company.

I tried to contact this company with my concerns and no follow up was completed. Only resolution of all of the above would cause me to count this issue as resolved.

Ben *** from Horizon Energy has tried to reach out to the customer so they can set up a time to go over the items he has listed. Arcadia will make sure that Ben continues to reach out to the customer. Additionally, our office will reach out to the customer directly to provide Mr. with Ben's phone number so they are able to communicate directly with one another about the items that have been identified in the customer's complaint.

We have continued to stay in contact with Mr. and follow up on the items that he has listed that the sales company has promised him. Per Mr., the pool company is currently in the process of scheduling another appointment for the pool pump so we followed up with Ben *** to communicate the urgency of following up with the pool company to ensure that they get this scheduled as soon as possible. We will continue to follow up with both Mr. and Ben *** on the items Mr. has identified as unresolved.

The pool pump was installed. However, it is not the agreed upon kind, nor was I informed prior to or during installation that the pool pump being installed was a single stage pump (was informed by the installer that this is illegal to install in AZ due to inefficiency, so not sure why he did so). This kind of pool pump affords no savings towards my total solar package, and is the same kind of pump I previously had.

Arcadia continues to avoid paying any cancellation fees. Last conversation that I had with Ben he said that he was informed by their attorney that they should not pay them since they felt I did not owe. However, after consulting an attorney myself long ago, I was compelled, to pay for reasons previously stated. This complaint is not satisfied.

So happy with our decision to go with Arcadia for our installation. Arcadia fulfilled everything promised and more. The sales agent followed through on everything in a professional and timely manner. The installation only took one day, the installation was top notch and the explanation of how to operate the system was thorough. I already referred Arcadia to our friends, family and neighbors.

Arcadia Solar did an excellent installation of a solar system on our main house located at address give, and another house that we owned at the time different address. However when I contracted them directly (no financing) to install a system on our guest they did an inadequate job. I expected and requested that the system be large enough to cover 100% of my guest house's electrical needs for the year. They installed it on the roof, I wanted them to put up another grid in my back yard next to the grid that powers our main house, but they insisted it would work fine on the guest house roof. And they did not even use all the roof, part of the unused roof is in the sun all the time and is empty of panels. So in a nutshell, my main house solar system produces 100% solar power, I pay only about $20 a month for connection fees to ***. My guest house which I anticipated would be similar either does not have enough panels or they are not place right to get full benefit of the sun. I am pay over $100 per month to ***. I feel that since I paid for the system 100% approximately $14,000.00 for the guest house (paid in full by the time installation completed in 2/2018). Maybe they don't really care, because they got all the money, and they're rep that came to our door and sold us on using Arcadia Solar promised us $500 for each referral that bought, well my other house on Arlington Rd in Buckeye we put a Arcadia System in, and our guest house also has a system, so where is my money? Chris a representative from Arcadia came out, and told us the panels were not placed right. He would report back to Arcadia to get us a resolution, that was over 30 days ago. And for two and a half months I have been calling their main number and getting only a answering machine with no call back! If this does not get my system problem corrected (and not at my expense) I will fill a more serious complaint with the registrar of contractors to come out to our guest house and get involved.

At first I was a bit uncertain about the system and their smart system. Especially given the negative review that had been written recently. Although I must report my experience with Arcadia was nothing short of WONDERFUL! When I had questions my representative was able to answer my questions regarding the difference between the Arcadia system of method of installation. Compared to the 3 other companies that we researched in depth Arcadia separated itself not alone by the competitive pricing. But because they have been the leading installation company throughout the southwest for years is what separates them from others. Lastly, Arcadia has done all that they said they would and I have already taken advantage of their referral offer. Which is quite generous. But also I have refereed my mother in-law also. So I must think pretty highly of their services..

I had my solar installed by Arcadia Solar Solutions. The installers did a great job. They were very kind and professional and made sure they took their time and did it the right way. The solar looks great on our roof as well. I was a little nervous how it would look because our roof is pretty complicated, but Arcadia Solar took care of it the whole way, and it turned out better than expected. I didn't have to do much. I decided to get solar on my house, and about a month later, they were ready to install my solar. I am very happy!

They are nice until you buy the solar. Once the solar was installed we were told that smart system which was included in our package will be installed one week after the solar has been turn on and we will get a call before to schedule technicians to come and install that. It is 2 weeks past since our solar is turned on and we didn't even get any call to schedule installation and we still don't have the smart system. Very disappointed. Would not recommend to anyone. Giving 2 stars just because the people who came to install the solar panels were nice and did a good job.

I purchased and had a solar system installed by Arcadia and they did a great job. They helped me with getting the application approved by guiding me through the steps and ensuring I received the correct rate. The installation process was seamless and timely.

I had a positive experience with Arcadia Solar and would highly recommend their business to my close friends and family!

I purchased my solar electric system from Arcadia and my wife and I are very pleased we chose them. Great service and installed on time, we couldnt be happier.

The company I stalled my solar system. They installed the solar inverter box right below my air conditioning line. The inverter went out and now my whole system is down. They sent someone out here twice but when I talk to them they say no one has come out. I taled to thw guy thw first ti.e and my son talked to him the second time. The second time my son told the guy that who ever put the inverter in the place that he was stupid. The guy said he installed it. I guess the truth hurts. This company needs to not have the rating that they have. When I call I get put into a voicemail system. They never answer the phone. You have to leave a message and wait for them to call you back. What budine8does that. People stay away from them
