My husband and I had a deck put on in by ArchadeckThe wood that goes across the railing is badly warped as well as a cracked floor board, and one of the support beams underneath the deck has a large crack in it as wellMy husband called Archadeck the first time and left a message about the problem and they never respondedI called today, June 6,and left a message [redacted] from Archadeck called back and would not take any responsibility for the problem [redacted] told me treated lumber warpsWhen we had the deck put in,there was no mention of the possibility of the wood warping, or we would have chosen another productWe did not expect them to fix it for free,we just wanted it fixedHowever it would have been good business practices for them to take responsibility for their shoddy work, and offer to repair it for freeWe were thinking about extending our deck, and they just loss a very expensive projectthey do not stand by their work Thank you, [redacted]

to not have some of the issues they describe hereObviously they have not taken proper care of their project"Shoddy Work" is getting into the Liable and Slander area of the law as well hereIf it was Shoddy Work then why has it taken FOUR years to be Shoddy Work?We have offered a one year Materials and Workmanship Warranty for our projects for years running and ALWAYS honor itThis is four years agoWe simply do not have the manpower to go and fix a board or two due to neglect by the customerWe will consider this matter closed

Review: The Archadeck franchise of Tarrant County, Texas installed a pergola at my residence on 3 October 2013. Shortly thereafter the franchise in Tarrant County went out of business. The pergola supports subsequently began leaning and need to be straightened per terns of the warranty agreement. There has been no response to several emails and phone calls to the corporate headquarters. I personally spoke to Bob Haislip in the corporate office on 17 Jul 15. He assured me that he would handle my complaint and see that repairs were made. To date, I've heard nothing. Follow on phone calls and emails have gone unanswered.Desired Settlement: The two outboard vertical columns need to be plumbed and permanently straightened. They are currently approximately 10-15 degrees out of plumb.
