I bought a new gun model [redacted] serial [redacted] on 4/29/14 the first time I fired the gun it jammed. I took the gun into them as instructed for them to send in to [redacted] and [redacted]. I called 2 weeks later to check up and they said they had just sent it out a week before (meaning they had possession of my gun a week before sending it off). After another week I called again to find out it came in and they didn't bother to contact me. I took the gun to the range again now with a new problem of the chamber not locking in place after the final round. I spoke with [redacted] and [redacted] who directed me to have them send it back on 7/29 with a note stating specifically I want the gun replaced. When I dropped the gun off to archery and arms this time I didn't get any paperwork or receipt. I called today 8/13 to find out the status on my gun to find out they just sent it on Monday 8/11. They now have had possession of my gun 2 weeks not even a call to keep me up to date. They have had possession of my gun about half the time I've owned it and it seems like wasted money for poor customer service.Product_Or_Service: [redacted] and [redacted] 9mmOrder_Number: [redacted]Account_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementI am requesting an equal replacement of a new gun or full refund of the cost of the gun plus money lost in ammo and range fees.Business Response Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)They did not contact me either time in a timely manner. They had possession of my gun without the courtesy of a phone call to let me know what was going on or an approximate timeframe. The lack of communication alone is unprofessional. And the fact they claim s&w was closed is odd to me since I spoke with [redacted] the day before and he never mentioned that when I said it would be sent out to them the next day. And both times I dropped my gun off to them I verified my cell number which is not the number above. He contacted me on my cell just fine before now this is petty games and back and forth with no substance on their part. I called [redacted] and [redacted] a few days ago 9/2 and they never received my gun. So again I am requesting full refund. This is ridiculous they have had possession of my gun since 8/29 and over 50% of the time Ive owned it. I cannot and will not own and pay for something I dont have and cannot use. That is not legal.
