The roof repair on this project was the smallest portion of the work we did for [redacted]. Unfortunately we don’t do flat roofs which is what this job was. We had a sub-contractor we would typically hire to handle these projects. The roofing contractor did an excellent job replacing the...
roof membrane and some rotten sheeting but a sub par job on the flashing. The flashing is what failed inspection. It took a couple weeks to get him back out there to fix the issue which then still did not pass inspection. After the second failed inspection the roofing contractor was un-reachable. I then hired another company to come out and fix the deficiencies in the flashing. [redacted] is absolutely right that this took much longer than it should have and I apologize for that as well as the added stress. Trying to “flip” a house can be stressful enough without adding to it. [redacted]project Manager
