Hired Architective to perform a home inspection on a property in Benton Park in Although the inspector was prompt, polite and provided a detailed report, I would not recommend him to a family member/friend due to several expensive repairs that were missed on the inspection Several HVAC repairs including no ceiling installed above furnace (directly exposed to attic), furnace flue pipe rusted through, flashing boot around flue pipe improperly installed) Inspector said he would not climb a latter to the 2nd story roof, but offered a roofer contact who would (deducted from his fee) The referred roofer cited a single minor repair (loose roof tile) and we paid $ Less than months later we learned of several thousands of dollars of tuck pointing repairs on the roof and exterior wall after an interior wall sustained water damage I was later shown photos of a back chimney with no tuck pointing between the bricks and several areas where mortar had failed Some issues, were visible to an informed observer standing on the sidewalk outside
