To Whom it may concern,In response to the above named complaint, we respectfully submit the following responses:The project cost was actually $19,234.50, not $40,as stated in the complaintWe offer this info as one of many inaccuracies in this complaintThe idea that sealer was washed away was their theory however the only evidence of sealer issues was where we believed it was caused by pool chemicalsThis affected approxof the sq ftNot wanting to get into a case of telling them their theory was wrong, we agreed to reseal the pool deck, which we did, but the white spots returnedIf it was indeed a rain issue as they stated, the problem would be throughout the entire pool deckNot localizedContrary to the complainant's comments that ACD was "tired of dealing with us", we came out a third time and recommended they should use a more durable sealer to prevent these issuesWe applied an appropriate commercial grade, solvent-based concrete sealerUpon doing so they thought it looked better but as the sealer dried there were some dry spots in the grout linesThis is not uncommon and simply needs a revisit and more sealer applied to the joint areasIn response to the complainant's comments wanting the job finished to satisfaction, after two weeks of trying to schedule the remaining service at a convenient date and time for the customer, we receive a surprising email at 6:pm the night before the scheduled service stating that it all needs to be ripped out and re done or they will have to turn it into a "legal matter"We do not see it that wayAs noted by the customer, the job is structurally sound and looked great after the application of the solvent-based sealerThe approximate 10% of the total concrete that had a sealer issue as a result of pool chemicals was properly addressed with a reseal of the entire pool deck, and is only in need of one minor revisit to apply more sealer to some of the grout jointsACD would have continued to service them willingly right up until they decided to threaten legal actionAt this point, we are prepared to get out of the way and let the legal process take over if that is what the customer truly wants to pursueWe are confident in our years of product and service history.Respectfully submitted,Christopher M.President

ACD failed to properly finish our stamped concrete patio They applied a sealer right before a rainstorm hit so the sealer did not take it took them over a year to return and by then the concrete had severe staining They came out last summer to repair it but the work they did was poor and our concrete now has chipping and black splotches throughout Since they sealed it this past season with an oil based sealer, we do not think it can be re-surfaced when we questioned the company they basically told us they were tired of dealing with us and that they would no longer respond to our questions and that according to them, we should be happy with our concrete as it " looks way better than it did before" This is an insulting and very obvious statement by this company The structural work was very good we never questioned this We just question the fact that they never finished the job as they failed to seal it and now we have concrete that looks terrible and we are not sure w

ACD installed several stamped concrete patios at our homeThe seal coat and paint needed to be re-done after a couple yearsI paid for them to perform the re-painting and sealingWithin several months of the work being complete the surfaces looked worse than prior to the work I called ACD many times and emailed them and was assured Chris would come out to inspect the workNow it is months later and I have never heard from ChrisThey must want the initial installation and not care about the customer after the job is doneAt this time I would not recommend them for your project

ACD has done stamped concrete projects for me over the past 5-yearsI highly recommend them! I found them easy to do business withAlso the quality & results of their work was always as I expected or betterThe best part of my experience with ACD was working with their rep (Steve)Both times Steve was able to meet my project needs as well as make great recommendations, provide education, and give multiple options to fit by budget

To Whom it may concern,In response to the above named complaint, we respectfully submit the following responses:1. The project cost was actually $19,234.50, not $40,000 as stated in the complaint. We offer this info as one of many inaccuracies in this complaint.2. The idea that sealer was...

washed away was their theory however the only evidence of sealer issues was where we believed it was caused by pool chemicals. This affected approx. 200 of the 1200 sq ft. Not wanting to get into a case of telling them their theory was wrong, we agreed to reseal the pool deck, which we did, but the white spots returned. If it was indeed a rain issue as they stated, the problem would be throughout the entire pool deck. Not localized.3. Contrary to the complainant's comments that ACD was "tired of dealing with us", we came out a third time and recommended they should use a more durable sealer to prevent these issues. We applied an appropriate commercial grade, solvent-based concrete sealer. Upon doing so they thought it looked better but as the sealer dried there were some dry spots in the grout lines. This is not uncommon and simply needs a revisit and more sealer applied to the joint areas.4. In response to the complainant's comments wanting the job finished to satisfaction, after two weeks of trying to schedule the remaining service at a convenient date and time for the customer, we receive a surprising email at 6:45 pm the night before the scheduled service stating that it all needs to be ripped out and re done or they will have to turn it into a "legal matter". We do not see it that way. As noted by the customer, the job is structurally sound and looked great after the application of the solvent-based sealer. The approximate 10% of the total concrete that had a sealer issue as a result of pool chemicals was properly addressed with a reseal of the entire pool deck, and is only in need of one minor revisit to apply more sealer to some of the grout joints. ACD would have continued to service them willingly right up until they decided to threaten legal action. At this point, we are prepared to get out of the way and let the legal process take over if that is what the customer truly wants to pursue. We are confident in our 25 years of product and service history.Respectfully submitted,Christopher M.President
