Our experience with AWD for a front door installation was unfortunately extremely frustrating, failed to meet our expectations, and ultimately was never even fully completed by AWD
We ordered a door in May and, upon the initial arrival and installation in August, noticed the side-lights were a different metal color than the door and our orderAfter a substantial amount of discussion with AWD and, eventually, the manufacturer, the door was replaced again in OctoberUpon inspection of the second installation we discovered the door was cut an inch too short and had to be replaced yet againAgain we had to engage in numerous conversations with AWD and the manufacturer to address, and finally in early December the door was replaced for a third time, however upon completion we found that AWD had not provided the matching screw covers and all the interior screws were still exposed! After complaining about this issue we received, in the mail a week later, a set of screw plugs for us to apparently install on our own that were not even the right size for the door! Given the continued issues and frustration we finally decided to give up on dealing with AWD and hired another contractor to finish the work correctly
This was overall a very frustrating and unfortunate experience, the worst we have ever had with any contractor or provider, and a company we are advising all of our friends and colleagues to avoidMany seem to have had a much better experience, but I would strongly suggest others consider alternatives as the quality and accountability of their work was frankly unacceptable, and the overall amount of time we had to invest to ensure they did their job, which was never even fully completed, was totally inappropriate
