Archival Museum Supplies Reviews (11)

I am only giving them 1 star because there isn't an option for zero.
We placed an order on April 20, 2016. Today is July 12, 2016 & we still have not received it. When we inquire, all I get is "just give us a few more days." I talked to someone on June 20 & was told that there was an internal error & that has been fixed & my order would be shipped on June 23rd. The last time I talked to someone, on June 29, 2016 I was told that it would be 7 more days. Here we are, July 12 & no delivery, and no updated information on the order status online. Cannot contact anyone now, because the chat system is unavailable & "all representatives are busy" when I try to call & it sends me to a voice mailbox.
I will NEVER EVER order ANYTHING from these people again.

I placed an order 4 months ago and have not received it entirely. I requested a refund but they refuse to provide it. During the past 4 months I made all communications with them to find out the status of my order which took 3 months to get it partially. The company is run by pathological liars. Every time I call to get a status I also go to their live chat customer service online. I get two outrageously absurd and differing excuses. The business is fraudulent. They are thieves. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. THEY ARE CURRENTLY UNDER INVESTIGATION BY THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE. The phony address they give for their place of business is nothing more than a mailbaox where they conduct their fraudulent business.

You replay Just to let you know the person behind all of this is Bernard Findley, this what he does take over companies and takes your money and never ships the orders and makes you wait long enough so you can not get your money back from the banks. I know he did this to us back in 2010 and has done this to dozens of companies and stays one step above the law. Just type in Bernard Findley complaints.

Review: Order placed to Archival Museum Supplies on 8/29/2015 , received order confirmation via email , nothing more regarding shipping date . Phone calls and emails unanswered . My order number is [redacted] , order amount is for $67.91 . Looking at the five previous complaints filled against this outfit , this is more of the same , this guy is running a scam and needs to lose his business licence . [redacted].Desired Settlement: Since it looks like Archive Museum Supplies has no intention of filling my order based on their lack of response , I want the order cancelled and the credit card charge refunded .

Review: This company is not Revdex.com Accredited and has received an F rating.

My complaint is similar to those that are currently listed. On February 12, 2016 I placed an order with Archival Museum Supplies and charged it to my credit card. The charge was posted to my credit card on February 12, 2016. I dd not receive any confirmation that the order was received. On February 17, I emailed the company asking for confirmation that the order was received and the status of the order. They responded by sending me an email confirmation that they received the order. On February 23, still not receiving a confirmation that the order shipped, I sent an email to them requesting that the order be cancelled and refund by payment in the amount of $91.65. They responded stating that they "couldn't ship the order cause there were some quality defects in the shipping package." I responded requesting cancellation of the order and a full refund. I have to received any response from this company.

It appears that this company is scamming customers, taking their payments and not shipping products.

Unfortunately, your online complaint process is not working and I have been unable to post this complaint.Desired Settlement: Refund.

Dear Revdex.com,

Review: I placed an order for albums with payment of $170.91. The check (#[redacted] Wells Fargo) was cashed on 9/4/14 but no albums received. Unable to reach the company by phone except for voice mail. The voice mail message has been ignored. I attempted 4 or 5 future calls with the same result. Theere was also no response from other menu options.

Review: Ordered products on 10/16/14,my personal check for $58.88 cleared on 10/31/14. Spoke to customer service rep [redacted] on 11/24/14 since I had not received any merchandise. She said it had been ordered in their computer system but due to a glitch it was never sent to the warehouse to be processed. She informed me she resubmitted it on the day I spoke with her.Still nothing by 12/15/14 and I spoke with [redacted] who, said my order# [redacted] was not filled yet and they were waiting for supplies from Mexico to come in. Still nothing by 12/29/14, spoke with [redacted] who told me the same story. I informed him I just want my $58.88 refunded to me at this point. He said he put it through, gave me a credit transaction confirmation #5821. Absolutely no communication from them at all. On 1/23/15, I sent a certified letter of complaint with all the details to Customer Service at the San Diego address. The return card indicated my letter was delivered to them on 1/26/15. I have heard absolutely nothing from this company. I hope you can help me receive my money back because at this point, I do not even care about receiving the products as I had to seek elsewhere for my photo supplies which were item #[redacted](postcard storage bag):[redacted](5X7 photo pages) and [redacted](8 1/2/photo pages)Thank you for your assistance in this matter.Desired Settlement: I would just like a refund of my money paid which was $58.88. I doubt I will ever get the products sent to me since it has been approximately four months since I initiated the order. I am also upset that no one ever took the time to reach me in any way so a letter of apology from someone in charge would be appreciated, although I am more concerned with getting my money returned. Thank you for your assistance.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,

To the I only half accept the resolution as it has been since March 11 that I first spoke with someone who contacted me and said they were processing the refund. I received a voice mail message on March 11 stating they wanted to resolve the issue. I called them back, they took the information and said it would take about 10 business days. Then on March 16 I received an email from Archival Museum Supply saying they left me a voice mail and to connect with them to resolve the issue. On March 18 I returned the call and spoke to "[redacted]" who said he was in charge of handling the cases, informed him I had talked to someone prior, he took the information again and said it would be coming in 10 business days That's what I was told before!. On March 28 I received a phone call from them again (phone # [redacted] like the other calls - ) - this time from "[redacted]" asking me if I received the refund check yet. I informed him I had not and reminded him of when I first was contacted. They want me to call them when I receive it and then to contact you to let you know it has been resolved. All these calls from them still have not resolved the issue and I wonder if I am getting the runaround again from this company. Thank you for your time regarding this matter.[redacted]

Dear Revdex.com,

Review: I placed an order online on October 18, 2015 4:11 PM and received, on the same day at 5:11 PM, a ORDER CONFIRMATION from Archival Museum Supplies. My Credit Card was charged $ 104.82. Today is November 5 and my order has not been shipped and hence not received. I sent three emails over the past 48 hours inquiring as to the status of order # [redacted] and have not received a reply. I call their number three times and only received a prerecorded message of "Leave a message, name and number and we will get back to you as soon as possible." As I am in the east and realized they are three hours behind time wise, I only called during their 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM business hours. Guess what there has been no call back. What is the story with this business? They are operating as I have their catalog and they responded to my order by charging my credit card. Is this a matter of embezzlement? Are they operating illegally? Why are they so lax in processing my order? No back orders were indicated! I'd greatly appreciate your assistance.Desired Settlement: Get on the ball, package and ship my order (#[redacted]) post haste. And, while at it I hope they apologize for the slovenly way they run their business and treat their customers. Additionally, get training in business ethics so they reply to emails and return calls in a professional manner.

Review: I ordered products on 9/8/14 for $100.88. The money was taken by the company from my account the following day. I have not received by products as of 9/23/14 and no correspondence from them. The phone # they provide only allow messages. They have not returned my calls the first one was left about 8 days ago another 4 days ago and one today. I tried to send 2 emails from their website and they came back as fatal errors.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for the products I did not receive.

Review: On 1/7/16 I ordered 3 albums via the company's website for a total of $78.88, including shipping charges, which I made payment via my credit card. The website showed an order summery and I also received an email confirmation, order # 302. On 1/9/16 I received a second email confirmation for my order. On 1/8/16 my credit card was charged $78.88 by "Archival Supplies." On 1/13/16 my credit card was again charged $78.88, but by a company called Archival Photo Pages. Having not received the ordered albums, or a notification of shipment, I telephoned Archival Supplies at [redacted], the number associated with the credit card charge. A gentleman answered without identifying himself or a business. I asked him if this was the Archival Museum Supplies Company. After a slight hesitation, he stated "no," but immediately offered to give me their phone number. I briefly informed the gentleman of the nature of my call and that his telephone number was associated with the charge to my credit card. The gentleman responded that he could take my name and telephone number and leave a note with his manager to call me back. Since I was talking with an untrusted source, I declined his offer and terminated the call. I then telephoned Archival Photo Pages, [redacted], the number associated with their credit card charge. A gentleman named [redacted] answered. He pulled up my order number on his computer and verified that they had my correct order, contact, and shipping information. He also acknowledged that I had been charged twice. After a brief period on hold, [redacted] informed me that the albums were packed and ready to ship via UPS that day, or possibly the next, and that $78.88 would be credited back to my card. Having not received my order or credit, on 2/4/16 I sent a certified letter to the management, which they received on 2/8/16 by [redacted]. I still have not received the order, credit, or any form of communication from the company as of this date, 2/18/13Desired Settlement: As requested in my 2/4/16 letter: (1) Immediately ship my order and credit the extra charge of $78.88 back to my credit card. Or (2), if the albums are not available for shipment, an immediate refund of the two $78.88 charges, a total of $157.76, credited back to my credit card. Also, communication from the company that one of the two aforementioned options have been taken.
