Review: On 2/27/14 around 3:30 pm I went to the car wash at the Arco AM/PM gas station locatated at: 2701 Orchard LnSacramento, CA 95833After leaving the car wash I noticed a loud noise coming from the driver side rear door of my 2001 Volvo XC 70 (Gold/Tan in color). After stopping on the street I noticed the car wash had tore a piece of my trim from my car door on the bottom. This was due to a guiding rail that the car wash uses to actually pull and guide your car into and through the car wash (no driving is required while in the car wash). After leaving three messages with the Arco AM/PM station the manager never returned my call. After being fed up I went into the gas station and talked to the manager in which he acknowleged receiving my calls but chose never to return them. He insisted that his car wash could not have done that damage to the "passenger" side because the rail is on the driver side. I then told the manager that the damage was to the driver side of the car and he got quiet and reluctant to answer any more of my questions. After this he said he would look into the accident via his cameras and I never heard back from his again. It's now been a week since I last talked to the manager and feel he's hoping I just go away. I've attached photos of the accident.Desired Settlement: I want damages to my vehicle paid for.

Business

Response:

I have on video and pictures that when the consumer left the car wash that his molding was still attached to the vehicle. There is a disclaimer visible to customers before entering the car wash that we are not responsible for "loose moldings" and other items.

I am rejecting this response because: Please supply your video evidence, my attorney would like it before we go to court.

Review: Redemption of gift card with balance less than $10 was denied.

This review has nothing to do with the gasoline and/or convenience store. My issue is with the absolute lack of training that management has provided for their workers. I used an Arco giftcard and after filling up, there remained a $2.25 balance. No problem right? The card clearly says that it can be redeemed for cash value if less than $10 (not to mention being CA law). The disgruntled employee inside did not have the slightest idea how to accomplish that request. At first he blatantly said "No, we cannot do that" and after showing him the exact wording on the card, he fumbled around the computer for 10 minutes before handing me it back, shrugging his shoulders, and saying "Sorry, I have no idea how". It is pretty bad poor management that employees would not be trained in their own company policies, let alone California LAW. Maybe they will get the message after a formal complaint results in a hefty fine from the state.Desired Settlement: Redemption of my gift card per both CA law and the companies written policy.
