Review: I was looking for a place to get a smog test done. I came across Arco Smog Pros link that advertised $32.75 for a smog test. Doing more research I decided that this would be the best price and I clicked on the coupon to print it out. When I clicked on the coupon the priced changed from $32.75 to $34.75, I figured I'll bring the coupon and let them know that this is happening. When I get Arco the mechanic shop is open yet, the guy was running "a few minutes late" but the gas station attendant was going to start the paper work with me. She said that the smog test would cost me $48-$50 dollars. I told her I have the coupon and she said that this is the price WITH the coupon. Apparently when creating the coupon they decided to leave the work "off" off it. She told me the coupon was for $34.75 off a smog test; no where on the coupon does the word "off" appear, and the cost is somewhere around $70. I decided to wait for the mechanic to show up and talk to him about the pricing since it would be only be "a few minutes" but after 15 minutes I decided to leave and take my business else where because the deceit of the advertising. I find things like this a scam. They think that just because you are already there and need a smog test that you will pay it anyway. This is a plain and simple ripoff and something should be done to stop this.
