We regret that we were forced to ask a customer to leave our premises on Monday June We do not apologize for this, as we could not allow the hostile environment created by this customer toward our staff and customers to persistWe vigorously dispute the account given by the complainant There were witnesses present and every single one stated that our staff member did not yell at any time Furthermore, all witnesses stated that the complainant was yelling, and that she was cursing vulgarities prior to being asked to leave This yelling was so loud that it was heard on another floor of the building in an area more than feet down the hall by a female member of our team When our female staff member appeared in the customer service area, after hearing the angry yelling continuing for some time, she did ask the complainant to stop yelling When only more yelling continued, and because the complainant was out of control, she was asked to leaveAfter more cursing and vulgar gestures, complainant was then shown to the nearest door, where the door was held for her and she did then leave the building Upon looking out over the customer parking area from a window, to make certain that complainant was leaving, she could be seen in her car with a phone When she saw us at the window, she exhibited the vulgar gesture againShe then finally drove awayBecause ARCO takes our commitment to our customers and staff very seriously, we did the only thing that could be done, which was to remove this threatening individual from our premises In addition, no refund is due to the complainant, as it was clearly stated in writing at time of purchase that this was a final sale
