Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The response reported is completely inaccurate I received a telephone call by the technician after his inspectionI was told that he suspected a leak but could not be certain The technician suggested that we charge the system before taking any other action I was not informed that I could pay extra for a leak sealant as the purpose for calling them was to determine the problem - not make a guess In fact, the only test conducted was visual as we were informed that the technician did not have the proper equipment to test for a leak Yet, when the system went out in less than a month, a different technician actually tested the system and at this time, I was informed that it was a non-repairable leak Had this been determine at initial inspection, I would have been in a better positon to determine next step I certainly would not have paid $for refrigerant knowing that it would leak out In my opinion this is straight out fraudIt is noted that the tenant was present during the inspection and the phone conversation and is willing to write a statement of what she heard/observed In addition, I received a survey from the company and my response was $for a minute job? Their response back was "actually, it took about seconds to charge your unitYour system was flat emptySorry for the price of refrigerant but ris being phased out and is very expensive My question is - why would you suggest to have the system filled when you were not sure whether or not it was a leak - why fill the system completely? Again, had I been informed at initial visit that leak was non-repairable, I would not have paid over $for refrigerant knowing that it would leak outI am still requesting the company to refund monies paid minus the service call Thanks Regards, [redacted]

the leak was non detectable with a leak detector or visual with bubbleshome owner was advised to replace complete system on first trip. home owner was made aware of chance of refrigerant leaking out and did not want to pay extra for leak sealant to systemwe will not be refunding any money
for service or refrigerant
Actually you became very hostile at time of payment and told tech to leave immediately and that they were trespassingthe $service was due from first trip out, but as a curtesy I waved it for the miscommunication. and also offered to come put your smoke alarm back onyou insisted that
I take the $from my employees which I would never dueand were very argumentive with me as wellAlso hung up on me and would not answer a return call. on your message you mentioned that my technician's threatened you which I do not believe at all and that they called you a "thief" which is also not trueyou use of profanity on the message was not needed and I found that offensivewe do good work and stand behind or employees. and would prefer not to do business with a customer like you
