Arctic Air

I purchased two heating/cooling units from Arctic Air, LLC for my newly built home in 2015. The installation process was extremely lengthy because we could not get the owner to show up when promised to finish the job. I overlooked that issue on more than one occasion. Since the installation there have been a few issues with the units. One unit had low freon, we had to go on emergency heat for about 4 months because every time we called the owner he would promise to show up on a certain date but would never show. When we would reach out to him by text and phone, we could never get a hold of him. Our power bills were over $600 for those for months and the owner was told this but even that didn't get him to show up and fix things until much, much later. Currently we have an issue with a leak in a vent. We called the owner and his brother, the co-owner for approx 6 months. He finally showed up about a month ago (on a Friday) and told us he would be back on that following Monday to replace the vent, re-wrap with insulation and that should fix the issue. Monday came and he did not show up. My husband had to miss work because we were expecting him. My husband and I both have reached out to the owner and his brother numerous times via call/text with no reply/call back. I have a lot of drywall damage due to the leaking vent that I am going to have to pay to replace. I feel I have been left with no choice but to call a different company which is going to cost a lot of money we don't have to get this problem corrected. We are under a 10 year contract with Arctic Air, LLC and feel strongly this company has breached their contract because they are not keeping their end of the deal. If we have to reach out to another vendor to fix this issue we will be taking this company to small claims court to recoup the out of pocket cost as this is not our fault.
