We do charge a $79.99 dispatch for all service type of work. All customers are made aware of this when they schedule the service call. We have been charging this same dispatch fee for over 8 years now. Estimates that are free would be for installation of a new heating system, new air conditioning... system, or a new water treatment system. Customer did sign the receipt. The customer told the technician that they don't have email. So a receipt is automatically sent from the office to the customer.

Technician arrived at customers property to do an annual tune up on their AC systemAt the time of arrival the technician said he had found the AC system had been tampered withHe found the disconnect on the wall behind the AC had been opened and tampered withHe also found two deep
scratches on each side of the AC unit about an 1-1/2" longHe felt this damage was probably done with a stone and could have been done by childrenThis system was installed on June 23, Customer called our office and complained that we did this to her system even though are tech had pointed out these issuesWe in turn offered to come out with a special order touch up paint from the manufacture at no chargeCustomer become irate with our office staff and demanded a whole new AC systemThe customers husband then called the office screaming at the manger and threatened him with bodily harmAt this point there is absolutely nothing we can do for this customer

The boiler was installed on 7/13/with a five year parts warranty from the manufacture and a year labor warranty from Arctic Bear. All complaints are with the boiler manufactures productBoiler has not been serviced yearly and prior invoices from technicians on the job state
that the boiler has not been serviced and should be yearlyArctic Bear replaced the entire boiler on 3-18-because the heat exchanger had been leaking all over the wiring and control boardAt this time the labor warranty was expired. Had the boiler been serviced yearly this manufacture issue would have been caught and easily fixedBecause the customer still does not get yearly service performed this issue happened to destroy the boilerWe had a boiler in stock and kindly donated it to the customer and included the installation costs on 3-18-At this point we didn't have to do anything under the labor warranty and all labor is chargeable at this pointAlso the customer would have had to wait for the manufacture to get the parts hereAgain, we did this at no charge. Now the boiler has been in over a year and is having an issue to which the customer stated we are not returning there callsThere are no records of the customer calling the office and the customer also tells us they never did call the office directlyThey stated that they had been trying to reach us through the websiteWe do receive daily notifications from the website and there is no prior history of this customer contacting us through that means The most recent failure in the boiler turned out to be a dirty flame sensor, in which we cleaned on 7-10-Had the boiler had it's yearly service performed this part would have been cleaned and this problem would have never happenedIn conclusion we have been more than fair with the customer and have performed way above our responsibility in the one year labor clauseSincerely, Jason BArctic Bear Heating & Air
