I am rejecting this response because: Most of their response is untrue They never told me mismatched system can cause malfunctions and other HVAC professionals have explained that the TX valve was rated for rto convert the outside unit That valve was bad and needed to be replaced I didn't need an outside unit They just wanted to sell me an outside unit It was never working right because they installed it on a cool day so it didn't run until it got hot They did offer to replace the whole coil at a charge of $which I agreed but they ignored me for almost a month after I contacted them multiple times via their websites messaging system, left messages with their office admin and email He never said the coil needed to be replaced until after installing the outside unit didn't work

There will be no refund provided to the consumer. When the unit was installed we made it clear that the attic unit was new and was working properly, but the outside unit was never updated to work properly with the inside unit. So, we replaced the outside system, and everything was checked and...

working properly. A couple of days later he called, and said that the system outside was not working right. We went back to his property and inspected the outside unit. At that point we mentioned to the consumer that having two mismatched systems for so long could cause malfunctions to both systems.  We did mention that it was a coil that was causing malfunction, and we would be able to replace that. One week later I called the consumer and let him know that the unit installed inside was under warranty, and it could be replaced by the warranty company at no charge. The only charge would be our installation fee’s. I never heard from the consumer after that.  Also, the TX valve is part of the coils which I originally explained needed to be replaced in addition to the unit inside.

I am rejecting this response because: Most of their response is untrue.  They never told me mismatched system can cause malfunctions and other HVAC professionals have explained that the TX valve was rated for r22 to convert the outside unit.  That valve was bad and needed to be replaced.  I didn't need an outside unit.  They just wanted to sell me an outside unit.  It was never working right because they installed it on a cool day so it didn't run until it got hot.  They did offer to replace the whole coil at a charge of $500 which I agreed but they ignored me for almost a month after.  I contacted them multiple times via their websites messaging system, left messages with their office admin and email.  He never said the coil needed to be replaced until after installing the outside unit didn't work.
