Arcus Lending Reviews (%countItem)

This company is misleading veterans. I received an Eligibility notification in March that stated I could reduce my current va mortgage to 2.75% for a 30 year fixed. The notice mentioned no minimum credit score, no appraisal ,no money out of pocket, no income or employment and up to $5000 in escrow refund. My husband and I called and applied in April. They sent us an email indicating we were eligible for a 3.275% rate and to send our docs in. After two weeks the loan officer Sal called and said they could only do 3.8% because my husband had a low credit score. They sated it would take about 15days and then we could close. I was told I would skip two months payment prior to my first payment due with them. They then avoided my calls for over three weeks and here we are in June and they are now saying they can't approve the loan because of my husband's score. However, I just received an additional solicitation from them asking for my business with the same lie. " No min credit score". This company should be investigated for deceiving veterans and others alike.

False advertisement of being Revdex.com accredited with A+ rating. Spams mail advertisements.
I have received many mailers from this business all stating that they are Revdex.com Accredited A+ rating for VA mortgages and IRRRL eligibility. I have received 4 "Final Notices" (Nov 7 ,2019, Dec 5, 2019, Jan 9, 2020, Jan 30, 2020). Seven eligibility notifications for IRRRL and 3 "Second Attempts". One notice about negative escrow balance. This is all from a span of 6 months. I'm not even sure if that's all of it because I get so much mail from this company.

Desired Outcome

Please stop sending so many notices to me and remove me from all your lists. I'm on the DNC list and the advertising mail list. Stop claiming to be Revdex.com accredited too.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

This company sends an official looking letter with the name of my mortgage company and in prominent letters the words FINAL NOTICE. I thought it was from my mortgage company. I thought I had done something wrong and was about to lose my home. It is only in the finest of fine print on the bottom of this letter that they come clean about what this is. It is an attempt to get me to refinance my mortgage through them. I would never do business with a company that uses scare tactics to gain business.

IT IS DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING and flat out TERRORISM. They are attempting to frighten people into calling the numbers on the page before reading the fine print gobbledygook and then try to hook the unwary consumer into doing business with them. They need to be stopped from advertising like this. I want my name removed from their mailing list

Desired Outcome

Modification/discontinuance of They need to put their business name and information and purpose for the mailing in a more prominent place and not make it look like it is from a legitimate company that I do business with. I want their claimed Revdex.com rating of A+ dropped from their deceptive advertising.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I want this business to stop using DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING. The flyer I received could easily result in a person getting into serious trouble with their home mortgage.
This company does not mention their name until the very last text line on the flyer in the very smallest of print, and instead IMPERSONATES MY CURRENT MORTGAGE LENDER in prominent, misleading and vaguely threatening language.
This advertisement encourages the recipient to believe that they are in trouble with their current company. I am also going to send copies of my correspondence to the State of California attorney general with a complaint.

We have helped 1,000's of Veterans across this nation, our intention will never be to endanger a fellow Veteran moreover help them get out of a troubled situation. Feel free to reach out to me direct if you'd like to talk more specifics.

Thank you.

This lending company practices continuous unwanted solicitation via mail. They also deceptively claim to be Revdex.com Accredited which they are not.
In September of 2019 I purchased a brand new home utilizing my VA loan. Since approximately late October, early November 2019, I have continuously been bombarded with letters via mail attempting to retain service as my mortgage lender. It has become overwhelming.

The final complaint I have against this company is for Deceptive Practices. At the bottom of the letters (Most recent being March 5, 2020), they are endorsed with Revdex.com logos stating they are accredited with the Revdex.com and have an A+ rating. All of which is false. This company is not accredited by the Revdex.com. Attached to this complaint you will find a copy of the aforementioned letter.

Desired Outcome

This complaint will serve as the first official complaint stating I do not wish to receive anymore contact from this company or their advertising company. Should I receiving anymore communications I will be forced to file criminal and civil litigation. From this moment, after you, Arcus VA Mortage DBA Arcus Lending, Inc. receives this complaint, it will meet the elements of harassment in the State of Texas since this is ongoing and unwanted. Please refrain from any further contact with me or my property.

Again our apologizes for the disturbance, our intent was to provide you savings. Your address has been added to our do not contact list. Please allow 2-3 weeks for it to take effect.

First off on the bottom of their flyer it says they have an A+ rating from the Revdex.com, but I was unable to locate the company on your website... could be user error on my part.

My complaint is the way they advertise their services.

The company is trying to get me to refinance my mortgage with them, they way they do this is by mailing me a letter.

Bolded in the top right hand corner of the window it says "RE: ECROW SHORTAGE"

I don't have an escrow shortage, I work hard at keeping my finances up to date, and paying my bills on time. Yet everyone that handled that letter, or may neighbors, and my postal officer delivers to them a lot.... now is could be under the impression that I am behind on my escrow. They, by their advertising are sullying my financial reputation, and I would prefer it if they stopped advertising in this method. It is deceitful and wrong.

Desired Outcome

No further contact by the busi I would like to know if they are actually Revdex.com Accredited and for them to remove me from their mailing list in the future.
