Customer (***'s) came in for service 1/2/for heat not coming out of side of her front vents. Upon arrival found coolant low - tested cooling system and cap for loss of pressure/fluid - found cap to be bad. Because coolant level is a typical sign for heat loss in a vehicle - we
needed to correct issue before continuing with further diag. Upon replacing cap - ran vehicle to temp, heat out of vents was degrees on the side of complaint. This is within vehicle spec. Customer was called with complete vehicle & paid diag fee ($50) and cost of radiator cap. ***'s did call back reporting the air not blowing sufficient enough - I (***) advised customer to return next day with waiver of diag fee.Customer returned 1/3/and techs performed another hour of diag on vehicle free of charge, the additional fee was to cover a secondary repair for a heater core blow out. All vents were blowing above degrees making it hard to pinpoint an issue, we found no restrictions and all electrical components found in working condition ( which was part of the 2nd diag, that customer did not pay for). While the customer feels they are being charged twice - I have hours of diag in listed vehicle and was only paid for 1, at our discounted rate for initial diag.The issue was not resolved but the radiator cap was an additional issue pointing to the same problemLTM tried working with Customer but could not come to a resolve. Customer left with vehicle as is. All vents blowing above degrees
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12593441, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:
They charged me for services that I did not need and still did not fix the original issue. I will never do business with this company again.
