Arden's Fine Jewelry

Visited Arden's for their opinion as my ring was rough and catching on my clothes.......Antique three stone diamond ring was assessed by Arden'sI was told that the prongs needed replacing otherwise I could loose a stoneThe price for this would be $2000, but they could replace them for the reduced price of $That this would be done in platinum finely and expertly done with their laserWeeks later when I had saved sufficient money, the ring was collectedOn wearing the ring for the first time, after the work was performed, I noticed that the ring felt equally as rough as beforeAt this time I went into other local stores to get their opinion......all of them agreed that it was very rough to the touch and they all would have charged a lot less than the price quoted by Arden's in Sumter Landing The Villages FL.......one jeweler was as much as $cheaper for the same work in platinum, presumably without a laser, ( who cares for a $saving!)
I did take the ring back and was told by the owner that it was first class workmanship, and they would not do anything about smoothing the prongs or the priceI phone and threatened to leave a true review on their site......they then said they would smooth any rough areasArdens told me enthatically that there would be no credit or reduction This beautiful store attracted me initially and the staff were all knowledgable and extremely pleasantJust shows you can't judge a book by its cover!!!!!!!!
