Tell us why here...Complaint ID # 12479968We are sorry Mr*** had a problem with us As a business owner Mr*** should have had his compressor checked out and ready to go instead of bringing it in at the exact time he needed it and expect a dropped unit to be fixed immediately.
As a business owner he should have made alternative plans knowing his need Our tune up takes to business days, once it is assign to a technician as we had other units being worked on before his unit would be able to be worked on since the unit he brought in was not starting, backfiring and been dropped it would not be a flat fee or a simple tu for the possible problem this was stated by the customer that had that had happened We had to see what the problem was and see if parts were going to needed Yes our goal is to try get any repair out within to working day (weekdays not weekend since this is not our main business) but when you run into a unusual repair it may not be possibleMr*** was told when the machine was done or would cost him over $we would call him. I am sorry Mr*** thought our counter lady was rude, however she is the kindest person on the phone and in person. Our mechanic had spent over hours on the compressor and got it started, however was not satisfied that it was repaired. He had already scoped the internal engine cavity for any timing gear damage, cleaned the carburetor and spark plug, removed the recoil housing and checked the ignition module gap and setting and was working on checking the valve lash. The compressor was running which it wasn’t when brought in, however the mechanic wasn’t satisfied that it was rightWhen our mechanic was told bag up the parts for Mr***, he actually put the compressor back together and gave it to him. We did the tune up but was going to make sure if anything else was wrong it would be repaired. The tune up is $and Mr*** paid us the $estimate repairwhich he didn't say anything about which we kept for the refused repair We feel Mr*** received more than his monies worth and sorry that he wouldn’t let us do everything we could do for him. We would love to see the filmed video that Mr *** has on our employees and store, to see that it matches up with our videos

We are baffled by the complaint for two reasons. First why would he had brought his mower in if it was working properly?
Second when he brought it in as not running, it was then assigned to a team member to work on. As part of our repair we do...

a couple of safety checks on all mowers, one of which we check for bent crankshafts. The team member did find that the shaft was bent. Engine manufacture safety instructions is you don't use that product if this has happened. The rpm's of the engine with a bent crankshaft could shear off and throw the blade out from under the mower causing possible body injury to the user or bystander. We contacted the owner of the mower and told him we would not be able to repair because of this situation. The cost to repair the mower would be more than buying a new one. If Mr. [redacted] decided to try to use the mower even after being informed not to because of the safety hazard, the problems he described could have been from the unbalanced crankshaft. Our Team is looking out for our customers and we will not risk a chance of someone being hurt.

First of all, had the business read my initial complaint they would know exactly why the mower was brought into the business, for a simple tune-up. Tune-ups are regular maintenance needed for lawn mowers every 1-2 years. Secondly, this business is falsely reporting issues on lawn mowers that do not exist. In order to get my lawn mower back into working order, I brought my mower into All Pro Lawn Care on 5th and Santa Fe in Denver, which has operated in business for 20+ years. The owner had an extensive look at the mower and was amazed that this business had reported a bent crankshaft on the mower. He explained to me that the amount of force required to bend the crankshaft on these mowers is extraordinary and extremely unlikely to occur in normal use. All Pro Lawn Care then performed a proper tune-up on the mower and it is now working like brand new.
For a business to falsely report these types of issues with perfectly good mowers is causing unknowing customers to spend $200 minimum on a new mower that is completely unnecessary. Potential customers need to be aware of this type of conduct before making the mistake I did in bring my mower to this business.

equipment and it began to work" but "during the party the microphone would not work" We do have an after hours voice that is checked in the event someone has problems.  The clerk who check in the rental stated it would be brought to the attention of the party shop when they opened on Monday.  On Monday a full refund was issued on your credit card when we opened.  We do appreciate feedback and appreciate the time you invested in this matter. Thank YouArea Party and CostumesManager
