I am faxing proof that on 7-14-@ 2:pm, MrH***'s Toyota Camry passed the smog check & we successfully transmitted to the state, certificate #ZZ215848C that was valid for daysIt is the customer's responsibility to follow up & complete the registration with the DMV or B.A.R(Bureau of Automotive Repair).Note: after a car passes, the machine transfers the certificate automatically to the DMV/BAR, it is not done manually by us techniciansAgain, it is the customer's responsibility to follow up & finish their registration. On 2-15-18, customer talked to my manager Dario, he told her to go to DMV but she said she did not have time for DMV!!! Therefore, the problem is between her & DMV since we correctly did our job. Finally, to verify my words above: please feel free to call the B.A.R(ph ####-###-####), they will attest that I am correct. The desired settlement is ZERO dollars because we are 100% true.Furthermore, this customer owes us an apology for his unfair complaint & wasting my time.Regards, S [redacted]
Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:The respondent from Discount Smog Check did not show any proof that the shop actually updated DMV, what he showed is the certificate that my car passed the smog check and the money I paid the shop - he is showing a fake proof to fool Revdex.com. He was also fabricating the story when he said that I do not want to waste time contacting DMV - it is obvious that I contacted DMV multiple times and that's how I found out that even until now the shop still haven't updated DMV about my smog check. He also lied in his response about this - I'm quoting his words exactly here: "Finally, to verify my words above: please feel free to call the B.A.R(ph ####-###-####)" - he marked in his attachment that B.A.Ris California Bureau of Automotive Repair - if you call that number, the automatic recording will tell you that you reached "The Consumer Affair" , not the B.A.R like he claimed. It is common knowledge that the shop needs to update DMV after car passes the check, and if they don't then DMV won't issue the registrationI have done my share of responsibility that I paid registration fee to DMV on time and get my car smog checked but without the shop updating DMV about car passing smog check, DMV won't issue the registration.
