Review: I purchased the Sahara crib from [redacted] in 2011. I have written emails to the company, since no phone number was provided to call on website, about the defective issue with the crib bars. My son was taken to his pediatrician twice for getting his foot caught between the bars and twisted his ankle/knee trying to get it unstuck as a baby. This has caused a lot of stress in our child and my life fearing that every time I put him down his foot may become stuck again and cause further injury to his growing legs. I finally has to buy two sets of mesh breathable bumpers to place on both sides of the rails and enclose him completely to ensure it didn't happen anymore.

Our daughter was born last May 2013, and since she has been in the crib has gotten her leg stuck multiple times. This has resulted in many trips to the doctors office to check on her leg because it swells and becomes black and blue. This problem with the crib bars needs to be fixed NOW. The safety of my children and others is a great risk as they are growing quickly at this stage and damage done now by a place they spend most of their days is unacceptable.

I never received a response or even an acknowledgment to my previous emails. I am hoping this will help get a response from the company. Very disappointed.Desired Settlement: Fix the crib rails on the Sahara crib so my babies and other babies legs don't continue to get stuck. Would like a replacement for this serious issue and concern over my baby's sleeping arrangement.

Sincerely,

Review: I purchased a Bam Bam Bassinet and full Crib in WHITE. My set is missing a BASSINET PAD, AND it is missing 2 WHITE CRIB STRUTS.

I ALSO purchased the Bam Bam Bassinet Canopy Support in WHITE. The canopy support does NOT fit the bassinet.Desired Settlement: I would like a bassinet pad, 2 crib struts, and an additional canopy support in WHITE.

Review: I purchased the Bam bassinet and crib set (sold without toddler conversion kit) for $585 plus tax and shipping in March 2012 via [redacted]. After a month of customer service issues with [redacted] saying that the order had been placed with and accepted by Argington, the crib had not shipped. I was told by Argington and [redacted] that this was due to a manufacturing delay as they were ramping up production due to popularity. I specifically asked if the crib was being discontinued and was told firmly "no" that it was a great seller and they were actually going to offer it at a lower price in the future but that it would remain available for years to come. When the crib finally arrived we were thrilled. We successfully set up the crib I the first style, as a bassinet, for our new daughter. She used the bassinet until 3 months old when we transitioned to the crib style for her. After her first birthday I wanted to purchase the "next stage" conversion kit so that we could give her a toddler bed within the next year.

I have contacted more than 15 stores, tried [redacted], and [redacted]....all to no avail. I also, of course, contacted Argington and [redacted]. Argingtons response was straightforward: the crib was discontinued in "that form" and I would need to purchase a new [redacted] package ($600++) in order to receive the $99 part that I need to extend the life of this expensive purchase. Only other option offered: a small percentage off of a new, separate, toddler bed. I was also told by the company that the retailers were asked to stock the conversion kits and notify customers who purchased through them. After hearing this, I called [redacted], and was told that argington maintains their own stock and everything ships direct from manufacturer thus they have no product to keep. Additionally, and more surprisingly, [redacted] told me that they were NOT INFORMED by Argington that the product would be discontinued nor that replacement parts would be unavailable to their customers.

This situation is unacceptable on many levels, but the most egregious is that Argington will not provide resolution to the consumer. Offering a discount on the purchase of a multi-hundred dollar item plus the cost of shipping is not really making an attempt at resolution because it's an offer no one will accept. This product is still made, so one can extrapolate what might happen if a current [redacted] owner needs a replacement due to defect or damage for their toddler-conversion pieces.... Would the company simply tell them to purchase an entirely new crib or offer to ship a new crib, or would they do the prudent thing and supply only the missing/defective piece? I cannot abide that this company will not offer this part "a la carte" as was originally promised, especially considering the product in question is still manufactured! The only settlement and reasonable resolution is to make this item available for the original price of $99.Desired Settlement: As stated, the additional piece, that is still being manufactured, should be offered to purchase separately to all customers for the Bam original crib.

Review: On April **, 2012, I ordered a nightstand from Argington via a website called [redacted]. The item was paid for in full and was promised to me on multiple occasions: in May 2012 thru June, 2013. Every time I called Argington I had to leave a message because nobody ever answered the call. Not one call was returned to me. Argington would only communicate with me via email. I followed up consistently with them, as did [redacted], and they continued to promise me this item. Today, June *, I was informed via email that I will not be receiving the ordered and paid for nightstand.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive this nightstand given that I paid for it in full.

Review: The crib was defective and the bolts and parts keep coming apart as a result my daughter has pinched her fingers and toes multiple times. All calls or e-mails are not answered. The original provider that I bought the product from TotsNStyle is now nowhere to be found and apparently out of business. Argington's website and all information has also been removed and no one will contact us about a refund for this defective product. From Yelp and other mother's blogs I noticed lots of others are having similar issues and the products that Argington makes are just defective and poor quality. It is a shame as I spent over $700 on buying the Argington Sahara crib which was one of the most expensive ones. Worst they do this on a baby crib jeopardizing the security and safety of the child.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund cash or check for the full amount of the crib purchase. The product is useless and unsafe and should not be sold to any parents.
