We had Argo Glass & Windows replace sixteen glass panes, many of them large, in our home on January 13 & 14, 2020. Their pricing was fair and the quality of work excellent. Their crew was fast and courteous, completing the entire project in under two days. I thought I would have to repaint the outer frames in spring following the glass replacement, but the manner in which they performed the work kept the existing paint intact.
It was January in Wisconsin and they removed the old glass panes and installed the new ones with a very minimum of cold air entering the house. My wife and I were home during the entire process and never felt cold.
We will be having them return in spring to repair some rotted wood in a number of window frames and replace some broken window hardware. We will definitely continue to use them for any future window needs and highly recommend them to anyone needing similar work.
The entire process of working with ARGO was a five star experience! The estimate was scheduled within a few days after I called. I needed some rotted wood repairs and glass replacement. Stan was on time, he was polite and answered all my questions. The technicians who did the actual works were also courteous and cleaned after themselves. I was amazed when I realized how much I saved by repairing those windows instead of replacing. Would highly recommend ARGO and their professional crew to anyone in need of repairs.
Stan was excellent at going through reviewing what wooden windows needed to be replaced, offering honest opinion and advice and working to get a signed contract. When I ended up 6 weeks later deciding to completely replace all my windows and not requiring their service (no work on the new windows was performed yet), they provided a polite, fast and full refund.
I admire their integrity and caring for their business and customers.

Argo glass and window mailed me a colorful post card refering to free estimates for window /glass repair. they charge you $150.00 for your free estimate, I questioned the lady several times and yes their "FREE" estimate is $150.00 to look and then if you deceide you want the work performed then the additional charges apply. They are as phony as their free estimate.
Hello Mr.M***, I apologize for your experience with us. There is some misunderstanding, because we don't work like that. We always offer free estimates, but it's a totally different thing if you has leaking or drafty window - which will be a service call, not an estimate. That is what you probably had. And the only reason why we say it, that there will be a charge for the visit, because 95% of the time we CAN NOT fix it. Which we explained over the phone. Most of the times leaking window can even occur in new window, a lot of times the problem can be in the structure of the house, not in the window. As we always say in those cases, leaking or drafty window, we can come out for an estimate - which will be 120-150$, and if we can help you with the problem, we will NEVER charge the those fee. As we will be doing the job. So I apologize for all the confusion on our end. We never have any hidden info or hidden fees, as everything is always explained over the phone first. If you possibly have any other problem than a leaking window or drafty window, please give us a call and we will be more than happy to provide you with a free estimate. Thank you
Really... I used this glass company and want to talk about their BILLING PRACTICES. If you pay by credit card, they DONT TELL YOU that there will be a "processing fee". They charged me 350.00, in excess of my 250.00 estimate and a 35.00 processing fee. When I contacted them they said "it says 3% processing fee will be added to every invoice". 3% of what? the 250.00 estimate? the 350.00 fee they falsely charged me? Do you have a calculator? NO apology, no explanation. This is a shyster company.
Mr R I understand your frustration but as I explained on the phone every single estimate we give out has it clearly marked that there is a 3% processing fee. It wasn't hidden, and clearly stated on all of our papers. Most companies have some sort of processing fee so I'm not sure why thats even so surprising to you. Also you called and you were immediately screaming and threatening our office ladies which is why no apology was offered. But an explanation was given, you were also given the option to send us in a check and we would refund the credit card amount and there would be no processing fee. But instead you didn't want to pay for any services completed. We are sorry that your experience wasn't ideal as we strive to give the best customer service possible. I'm also not exactly sure why you felt we deserved a negative review but your wife called us this morning to come back and do a little extra work. But as I explained to her, your threats and antics made us no longer feel safe working with you. once again I apologize for the confusion and I'm sorry there was a misunderstanding with the information you were provided on a written contract. we will do our best in the future to make sure customers fully read there estimates we provide. Also, on the day of the estimate we gave you 100$ discount. Which ended to be 250$ for the job and we charged ONLY 7.50$ , which is 3% as extra processing fee. Not 35$. We are very sorry for your experience with us, but we did everything possible to make your customer service be at it's best. Have a wonderful day

Max and his co-worker did a wonderful job on repairing some rotten windows, replacing a window sill and brick molding above the garage door. They were professional and did wonderful work. I would have them back again. Would highly recommend them.
