Review: On **/08/2014 I received a Certificates or repatriation (724.1 / 9/**/*/14) from the Greek consulate in New York for the import of property and personal items from Pennsylvania (USA). [redacted] (Brooklyn, , ([redacted]) undertook to help. She contacted Argo (Packing and Shipping - Brooklyn NY --([redacted]) to carry out the shipment. [redacted] of Argo contacted [redacted] and [redacted] (Dallas, TX [redacted]) who had the keys to the storage and they all went to Pennsylvania on September * to make the transfer from Pennsylvania to New York. Transportation costs (airline tickets, truck, tolls, restaurants, etc.) amounted to $ 1,548 was entirely paid by [redacted] put things in his storage and demanded $ 6,000 to deliver. After many negotiations and while he refused to deliver the cargo to another company ([redacted]) that that would charge $ 4,000, I was forced to accept the term for the delivery of the cargo for $ 5,500 door to door. When things came to the port of Pireas-Greece on the 10/**/2014 Argo's customs agent [redacted] ([redacted]) claimed that he wanted another 1200 euros for clearance and transportation. He threatened me at his office that I will not get anything, nor could I look into the container, if I did not pay him first. Several days after the container was opened, I discovered that many things were missing among them: 1) An HPLC--medical equipment for research, 2) Two large wooden nutcrackers statues. 3) Plastic boxes with toys. [redacted] claimed that he loaded the HPLC and that the rest of the missing items were gifts from [redacted]. [redacted] claims she did not see any of the above items when she went to the storage to count the packages. After 1 month, and under pressure, Panagotis said he found the HPLC at the back of the warehouse, which in [redacted] opinion is too small that a large piece of equipment could be misplaced. He also promised to send all the things on the ** January 2015. Then he changed the date for February *. When I did not I receive it, I asked a NY acquaintance to contact him. He insulted her with obscenities (there are email reports regarding the language). In a personal call he told me that he could have kept the machine, but because he is honest he will return it. In an email that I sent through [redacted] I told him that I was not willing to pay for the transport of these things, nor for custom charges nor for their transfer to my home.. [redacted] sent them and his agent now requires payments to collect and transfer them. He has refused to do anything without payments and my property is sitting at the port under unknown conditions.Desired Settlement: I am asking that Argo pays for the expense of the receipt and delivery of 1.An HPLC piece of equipment 2.Two large nutcracker statuette. 3.One box of children's toys. to my address without any charge since the items were part of a cargo that was supposed to be handled in 10/**/2014 and was paid at that time in full. Note that the certificate of repatriation has expired. Therefore, if customs impose any taxes or dues that should be paid by Argo. Otherwise Argo should return the cargo back to NY.
