This company does not answer their phones personally The secretary transfers All calls to voice mail messages This client, and many of my neighbors in my HOA, feel they are screening their calls They return calls occasionally or never I always note the date and time I call Argus I also must keep a close eye on "cleared checks" from my bank because sometimes they choose not to accept automatic bill payments sent through my bank This company is not end-user friendly nor trusted

I agree with the previous complaint. We sent in our condo fees check which they never processed and then hit us with late fees.

Also, they are either ignorant of Florida condo law or purposely ignore Florida condo law as it relates to the condo association being responsible for non-negligent drywall damage. We were fortunate that an insurance adjustor submitted the damage we would be responsible for to the company that removed our damaged drywall and the drywall work was not included. We used an independent contractor for repair, and we paid for work the association was responsible for. The amount was not large enough to make legal remedy worth it to us.

Finally, they put the sale of my unit at risk by not completing a request for a background check in prompt. matter. Their excuse was that the application did not have all of the needed information but they did not reach out to the applicant to notify her of the lack of information. I have heard conflicting information from the real estate people about when they say they made the request vs. when Argus says the request was made.

As in the previous complaint, my experience is their calls are screened and it is difficult to get a response. Also, it appears their is no way to escalate issues above the property manage.

In fairness, a complaint I made regarding our upstairs neighbor storing cigarette butts an dog feces in a jar on our joint porch was promptly addressed. The check for the condo damage they did accept responsibility for was processed quickly. Also, we live in a community with a different Argus property manager, and that manager has dealt promptly with two requests regarding two separate termite issues.
