The sales person [redacted] was great and did everything that he said and moreWhen we got to finance the trouble startedThe rep, [redacted] , pushed, and pushed to sell us an extended warranty, even though we constantly said no, that it was to expensiveHe finally ask, " If I can raise your payment by only $a month, will you take this"My wife said yes and we didThe next day when we looked at the contract again, the warranty should have been $total, that's $a month x months as he saidNumbers didn't match! Numerous calls before hearing back from repTalked with head finance man, ***, who according to him, talked to Honda, and they were going to send the contract back to be redone, after about a week I found out that this never happened as said!! Got passed [redacted] the General Sells Manager, who did nothing but upset me more by running his mouth about how good of a deal we got, instead of trying to fix it!! Finally I got the GM of Hickory Honda, who told me that his priority was to back his people and protect Hickory HondaWe were never really mentioned as customers!! His resolution, was that the contract be redone without any extended warrantyWe did this because we were so fed up with these peopleNothing was said by this GM, about the fact that we had, IN GOOD FAITH, agreed to the extended warranty, at the price Quoted from a finance rep., and was never even offered to keep this warranty at this price!I would think that a GM that says he is really concerned about his business, would be especially concerned about THE CUSTOMER and THEIR SATISFACTION! We sure didn't get this feeling at all !! As I stated, the sales rep [redacted] & his sales manager [redacted] were the only two that seemed to really care! [redacted] has really gone all out for us, even after the problems started and has been 1st class all the way !

On February my husband and I drove to *** (*** Honda hickory) from*** Sc (hours) after numerous calls & research on a vehicle we had been looking forWe loved the van, traded in a newer car for the one we purchased and wrapped up paper workShortly after heading home we noticed that once you hit certain speeds the van would clunkNot knowing what this could be we called the dealership the next day and they said if the problem got worse to call them backWell come to find out that was their way of brushing off a major problemAfter having the van for not even months the transmission goes out completely, leaving me and my children in the middle of a busy intersection and highwayNow let me remind you that this van has a Cvt transmission and we were quoted about $to fix itWe were given a month or mile warranty and when it finally went out we were miles over the mike mark, so of course they said there was nothing they could or would do I reached out to dealership (starting 2/25/18, a few times in between and then May 3,2018) and that's when I got the run aroundFrom them having me call about goodwills, to calling *** to see if they would help( even though it was bought at a*** dealership), to hearing we will have to get back with you like a million times, to just not caringThat's when I call corporate(5/14/18) and I get the run around with AlexisShe talked to Rob, Mark and even the NEW General manager David L*** at the dealership, who all seem like they didn't careAfter getting no where with them I asked Alexis for someone higher up, with an attitude she gives me Chris Hubbard's number who is above her(5/21/18) After numerous calls and back and forth we got no whereThen they decided the dealership could do $towards repairs and corporate could do $500- so $totalI told them I would talk it over with my husband but I just would figure they would do more knowing they knew about this-after all it did have point inspections (or so they said) before it was sold to usAfter being frustrated and wanting to give up, I received a call (5/22/18) from Chris who said they decided we could take it to a smaller transmission shop and we wouldn't have to worry about little or no costsFinally thinking we were getting somewhere and he calls back stating he didn't know it was a cvt transmission and that it was so costly, so back to square oneHere we are May and already a month and a few weeks without my vanIt's frustrating to say the least and I want people to know how they treat customers who work hard and have childrenI have every call noted with date and times and what each conversation was aboutI was even told the finance guy who helped with the sale no longer worked there, but guess what, that was a lie too because I spoke with him tonight to see what he could possibly help with because he's a family man and totally understands that $5500-$just isn't going to come from a tree

I call to see if I can get the front bumper replaced with the one that does not have holes in itThey said NO

They are using "yo yo" financing techniques
*** Honda of Hickory sold me a brand new Honda Fit during the week of November 7th, Several days later they called and said that they could not find anyone to buy my contract without a large down paymentI had already traded in my Harley Davidson motorcycle, which they gave me much less than fair market value for, and allowed me to take possession of the vehicleUnder North Carolina law it says that conditional delivery agreements may only be made if they keep the car on their insurance and keep dealer plates on the vehicle
