Review: I had requested service to remedy a noisy unit (my living room unit in heat mode) in April 2013. The technician came, puttered around for a bit and left, but never resolved the issue. As we were going into summer and the noise was only an issue when the heat was running, I let it go. When it became time to turn the heat on again in October 2013 however, I requested service to repair what hadn’t been repaired six months earlier. My request for a satisfactory resolution to the noise issue was very clearly outlined to the company. Ultimately, the technician, who was apparently not briefed of the problem, came, spent 3 hours here trying to make sense out of the unit (as if he was looking at one for the first time) and ended up having to call a [redacted] to rectify the situation. In the meantime, I had to call a building handyman up to see if he could offer any enlightenment to the confounded technician. The [redacted] arrived, instructed the tech to wrap tape around the rattling piece that was causing the noise and left. Being satisfied that the noise issue was resolved, finally, I paid the outstanding invoice from the previous initial service call.

Then the bills for the second service call began coming in. Apparently Arista expects me to pay for a service call to fix a problem that should have been resolved the first time their technician came out?

I continue to be billed and have been threatened with collection.Desired Settlement: It took 2 service calls for the issue to be resolved, at which time I paid the balance due. I refuse to pay for the 2nd service call as it should be the company's desire to rectify poor service at their expense, not mine. I want the unreasonable billing harassment and threats of collection to stop.
