Thank you very much for the opportunity to respond to MsM [redacted] concerns and billing issues ABHA received a referral from MsM [redacted] physician requesting for a number of diagnostic tests that was originally scheduled for 05/20/with a time allotment of hours to complete all testing on one visit per the patient's request MsM [redacted] did call ABHA in plenty of time to cancel her appointment for 05/20/and was not charged a cancellation fee or a no show fee However, our records show that at that time she did reschedule her appointment for 06/10/ Again, MsM [redacted] was scheduled for hours of testing, which does not allow for any other testing during that time Our records indicate that she received a message to confirm the appointment and in that message was reminded about the no show fee if she failed to cancel her appointment within hours We understand that things do come up and appointments need to be cancelled, but due to the nature of the testing ordered and amount of time needed to, as well as the previous cancellation a No Show Fee was assessed I believe there is some confusion regarding the no show fee and appointment time and as such ABHA is willing to write off the "no show fee" and we as an organization will work to improve our notice to our patients regarding our cancellation and no show policyAgain, I thank you for the opportunity to respond to MsM [redacted] concerns and the opportunity to review our in-house policies and procedures

testing on one visit per the patient's request.  Ms. M[redacted] did call ABHA in plenty of time to cancel her appointment for 05/20/2015 and was not charged a cancellation fee or a no show fee.  However, our records show that at that time she did reschedule her appointment for 06/10/2015.  Again, Ms. M[redacted] was scheduled for 3 hours of testing, which does not allow for any other testing during that time.  Our records indicate that she received a message to confirm the appointment and in that message was reminded about the no show fee if she failed to cancel her appointment within 24 hours.  We understand that things do come up and appointments need to be cancelled, but due to the nature of the testing ordered and amount of time needed to, as well as the previous cancellation a No Show Fee was assessed.  I believe there is some confusion regarding the no show fee and appointment time and as such ABHA is willing to write off the "no show fee" and we as an organization will work to improve our notice to our patients regarding our cancellation and no show policy. Again, I thank you for the opportunity to respond to Ms. M[redacted] concerns and the opportunity to review our in-house policies and procedures.
