pre;">     It has come to our attention that there has been a complaint submitted against us on 7/24/14. Rovila Plumbing LLC is currently working with Attorney [redacted] in trying to find a resolution to this case as we were unable to settle on different terms.
On February of 2014 I received a call from [redacted] asking for a proposal for her pedicure spa salon, Ms. [redacted] provided us a copy of an architectural plan from Architect [redacted] dated 2/7/2014 (attachment #1). With the information provided we did a bid for the job consisting of 6-pedicure chairs, 2-hand sinks, 1-toilet, 1-water meter, 1-water heater, and 1 mop sink. When we presented our bid for $8,500.00 to Ms. [redacted] she stated she had received a lower bid for the job, but if we include future plumbing for 2 additional spa chairs she would hire us for the job. We accepted the counter offer and made an updated proposal adding the 2 future plumbing for 2 additional spa chairs (attachment #2). On February 17th 2014, Ms. [redacted] signed the contract and provided us check #[redacted] of $4,000.00 (attachment #3).
Ms. [redacted] owns more pedicure spa salons. As a result she has knowledge in the industry and is aware of the dimensions needed for spa chairs. The floor plan made by architect [redacted]; located on [redacted]. Kenosha WI ([redacted]. I have attached a copy of that floor plan (attachment #1) there you can see there is space to install 2 or 9 extra spa more chairs in other rooms. Ms. [redacted] knew before she even contacted us that in that room she could only fit 6 spa chairs she made me add future plumbing for 2 chairs because her plan from the beginning was to add plumbing for 2 spa chairs, in order to have an excuse towards the end of the project to complain and not pay the final bill.
Ms. [redacted] proceeded to hire BMR architect to finish the floor plan, because she didn’t pay architect [redacted] for the work he did either. The second architect plan (attachment #4) shows 6 pedicures chairs also, and plenty of room to install 2 or 9 more in the other rooms. After this plan was approved by Ms [redacted] and the city of Franklin on 3/21/14, I was able to start plumbing project, and the underground rough was completed on 3/27/14 on 3/28/14 a call was placed ok inspection (see attachment #5). Ms. [redacted] then hired a non licensed contractor for walls, he speak no English so we have to communicate trough Ms. [redacted], she live in Manitowoc WI, 1:45 minutes drive from site job, she was making all decisions by phone, she never was in site job. When the wall contractor finish the framing and was ok by building inspector, we began are rough plumbing and request inspection on 4/23/14, when we show up for inspection the wall contractor installed drywall walls in the weekend. A license contractor knows that inspectors leave notes to approve any work to prior to install drywall. We have to remove some of the drywall to expose plumbing pipes, as we note in our contract exclusions “we don’t repair any walls”. After inspector ok plumbing rough in 4/24/14 (see attachment #6) inspector note ok’d the plumbing rough, but he ordered a new installation of water meter (not included in contract)  She paid us $2000.00 with check #1035 leaving a balance of $2,500.00 (see attachment #7). [redacted] had problems with the contractor from Chicago and she had no one to finish the project, she asked me for help, we made a big mistake in helping her. After we renegotiated the price for the extra work.. Water meter set, two coffee machines, two backflow preventer, finish the dry wall, the painting, the molding in the back room, and the removal of two big trailers filled with garbage. We showed Ms. [redacted] the invoices (see attachment #8and9) and she agreed by giving us two checks for the balance and approve of final work, check #1004 for $2,500 and check #1005 for $2,350 for the completion of the work done. She mentioned the future plumbing for two spa chairs, and we explained her that the pipes are underground and ready to install the new 2 extra spa chairs, we both agreed and signed that we will install two spa chairs whenever she is ready, at no cost. (See attachment #10). The check number 1004 and 1005 both bounced (see attachment #11 &12) .
It is unfortunate that this has happened but the work that was agreed upon was completed with-in the codes and standards required by inspectors and professionals in the business.(see attachment#5) I can only hope that we get paid to resolve this issue so that both parties can move on.
                                        ... /> Sincerely,
[redacted]   [redacted]
