Arizona Car Sales Reviews (22)

We reached out to Mr. [redacted] and attempted to address his concerns before this complaint was filed on 7-24-14. Before he decided to make a Revdex.com complaint, we had offered to have him take it to our body shop for review.  I've attached both the offer from us and his acceptance of that offer....

Now, he decides unilaterally that our resolution is unacceptable and wants to give us a $1000 repair estimates from "[redacted]" that we have no idea who they are or what basis they determine any possible defect occurs.  I've also attached the relevant sales documents that Mr. [redacted] signed, willingly and without coercion.  The documents clearly state on the "service due bill" signed by Mr. [redacted] in this transaction in large, bold type that NO representation as to current or prior mechanical and/or body damage was made by any associate of Arizona Car Sales that was relied on by me in making my decision to buy this vehicle" signed by Mr. [redacted] in 3 different areas. Also, in the 4th paragraph, it says that Mr. [redacted] was given an opportunity to independently inspect this vehicle prior to purchase and chose not to do so.  Therefore, according to this document, he does not hold Arizona Car Sales liable for any repairs of any kind that are not listed on this service due bill after purchase even if a defect occurs after delivery in this vehicle.  We find it difficult to understand why, after we had already put in process a resolution to Mr. [redacted]'s concerns and which he agreed to (see attached), there is a Revdex.com complaint after we had discussed resolution prior to his filing this complaint. The bottom line is we feel 100% confident that our sale terms and conditions are valid and Mr. [redacted] is owed nothing. In the spirit of goodwill, we told Mr. [redacted] to bring it to a non-owned or affiliated body shop of our choice that we do business with to review his concerns for possible financial adjustment. After agreeing to that, he has changed his mind and said it is "not convenient" to do so and wants us to pay 2 or 3 times what the repair should cost. The facts remain that Mr. [redacted] suffers from buyers remorse and has made several backhanded attempts to reverse this sale to no avail nor has any legal basis for doing so.  I am out of the office until August 5th, 2014, as Mr. [redacted] knows.  He has been referred to [redacted], our general manager, for resolution of this matter.  Let me be perfectly clear on this, if Mr. [redacted] does not wish to do what we had previously agreed to and take the vehicle to [redacted], the shop we referred him to, our position is that he will receive no compensation of any kind for his concern as we will not trust the opinion of a shop we do not do business with and/or charges retail for any possible repair nor does it abide by the terms of our prior discussion.Sincerely,[redacted]Managing PartnerArizona Car Sales

Great company. Everyone from the first point of contact to the end was extremely professional and friendly. We are so very pleased with the experience. We feel they were honest and upfront on everything about the vehicle we purchased.

Just wanted to take the time to say how awesome of an experience it was to buy a veichle at Arizona car sales. They go the extra mile to help. I worked with Dave and it was a great experience. Definitely 5 stars!

Let me start bay saying, I am probably the most difficult customer Arizona Car Sales has ever had to work with. I had some very specific requirements for my next vehicle and at one point, I even changed my vehicle choice at the last minute. For most sales people, I would have been shown the door. But not the folks at Arizona Car Sales. They are staffed with the most professional, courteous and caring people I have ever seen at a car company anywhere (new OR used)!

For example, my sales person, Dennis S[redacted], wasn't even flustered by my final decision to change vehicles at the last minute. He treated me as if I had walked in the door for the first time. It was a challenge for him to find me the car I needed at the proper price point with the exact features I was looking for. Regardless of how long it took or how much work was involved! I NEVER felt rushed or hurried or pressured and time was no object for Dennis. You won't find another sales person as focused on their customers as Dennis S[redacted]. I would recommend asking for him, for sure. But my story doesn't stop there!

Because my change in vehicle choices shifted some of the financing requirements, the Sales Manager MIKE, spent hours working with me and various lenders to make sure I was getting the car I wanted, with the features I needed, from a finance company company that was actually looking for me as a client, not just settling for whoever might take me. Mike's care, patience and tenacity, literally humbled me and made me very grateful I chose Arizona Car Sales as the dealer I bough my car from.

On a final note, you will not find another used car dealer in the business with a NEW CAR attitude. Every vehicle is carefully inspected, cared for and they even offer a 5 YEAR, 100K MILE WARRANTY unlike anything I have ever seen from a used car dealer anywhere!

Please visit Arizona Car Sales in [redacted], on Main Street before you buy your next car. Ask for Dennis S[redacted] and say "Hi" to Mike (the manager) and Joy (in finance) for me. Please tell them Don W[redacted] sent you. You won't regret it!

AWESOME Diamond in a rough on Main Street in Mesa, AZ!!! Edwin Anima was my sales Man.Joy McCabe was the auto finance mgr. Words cannot express how great full I am that landed with a Mesa car sales dealership that did not to cheat me. On the lot their cars look really nice, clean office and service room, and the people from front to back were nice. The mechanic were very knowledgeable about their jobs. I was not pushed or taken for granted. When it was time to purchase my car the transaction was smooth and took only 1/2 hour.

I will be back in another year to purchase a car for my son.

Thank you

I assisted my nephew in his search for a car. He is young (21) so we wanted to be sure he made a good choice and decision regarding his finances. He did not have bad credit, but rather, had no credit. The salesman let us know what paperwork and documentation was needed to help with the process and we supplied that a day earlier than expected by dropping it off on Sunday. Our salesman was off so we spoke with the Manager on duty and another salesman. I asked if we needed to do anything else that day, they stated no, to wait for the Finance person on Monday to call. I asked if we needed to leave a deposit so the car wouldnt be sold before we came back. They both said NO, they would not sell a car that they were currently working a deal on. They asked us to wait until Monday because the Finance person was off on Sunday and they would have to check on repairs and final financing. We agreed we would be in right after work on Monday for discussion, negotiation and hopefully a car deal. Made it seem so easy. We didnt assume it was a sure thing and understood it was dependent on the Financing and his credit worthiness. We called to follow up an hour before to confirm we didnt need any more paperwork and spoke with the salesman, who said that the deal was off. I asked why, he said they were lacking further documentation. I asked why noone had followed up with us all day long. He stated he was busy. And by the way, they sold the car. Someone came in and paid cash. I was extremely surprised at that comment since we had been told so emphatically that they would not sell a car that was "in a deal." I expressed how inappropriate and unethical I thought they had been and that as a customer/consumer, they could have treated us so much better by merely communicating and not leading us on about holding the car as they said they would. If I hadnt been there, what would a 21 year old young man have experienced with a business that operates this way. As it is, we walked away with no car, and an experience with a company that doesnt seem to operate with trust nor ethics. BEWARE CONSUMER!

Very friendly and professional environment. Made my car buying experience very enjoyable. I would recommend any and everyone to do business with them. Junior helped me with purchasing my car and he was amazing. Ask for him anytime you come here he'll take care of you. :)

I had a very good experience with Arizona Car Sales. Pressure sales will immediately end my engagement with any company, particularly when car shopping. My interactions with the staff here were very pleasant, low stress, and easy going. I got exactly the car for which I had been searching. I am quite pleased and will certainly recommend them in the future!

Great service! Ask for Junior

Honestly someone had recommended me for this place so we decided to check it out since we needed a car and no dealer would approve my husband and I since my husband wouldn't get paystubs. We went in the first day and took a look at cars and decided on a dodge. That day we went, the credit approval was taking a while and it was close to closing time. At 7 pm, the manager there was shutting off all the lights and kicking everybody out to hurry up. That was very rude. So customer satisfaction Is not the first on their list! Anyways, we went a week later to get the car and first off, the car wasn't washed or anything. It was dirty inside & out! (They said because the guy that cleans the car didn't show up that day). Secondly,2 days after having the car it starts to show me it needs an oil change! I called [redacted] and tols him about the oil change and this high pitch noise the car makes when I brake. We took it in to the repair place they have and I'm guessing they did change the oil and not just restarted the sensor... but they said that the noise is normal for all dodges and fords? I honestly don't think so since my family has always grown up with ford cars and never heard that noise. I'm just really hoping that noise isn't something bad and just normal like they said. And lastly, there was this huge rain this Monday ( Sept 8, 2014) & my wipers weren't really clearing my vision. I told my husband to look at them and they are all worn out very much! I'm just truly donr with calling arizona car sales because they truly don't want to help you. Everything of the problems I'm having now should have not happened so early. I would not recommend this place at all. I'm very disappointed and if you do decide to go there, I hope you have a great overall experience.

The staff at Arizona Car Sales really were great!

They were not pushy on purchasing the car and really helped making sure I found the right car for me.

I would definitely recommend others to checking out this dealership as they are easy to work with and worked with me a lot as it was a first time car purchase along with providing financing a lot cheaper than I could get on my own! The sales associate ([redacted]) was a great guy, easy to work with and went above and beyond to make things fast and simple for me.

I was unsure about buying a car online and arranging the purchase from out of state. Arizona Car Sales made the whole process was easy and low pressure. They gave me a 5 year warranty good anywhere, including Iowa where I live and were very fair about everything. They picked me up at the airport and I was in and out in a half hour with no high pressure sales on extras. Overall a pleasant experience and I'd be happy to do business with Arizona Car Sales again!

After spending a couple weekends driving all over the [redacted] carshopping, we happened upon Arizona Car Sales. We were met by Dave and he showed us a few very nice vehicles with every question answered thoroughly. We test-drove one that we probably wouldn't have picked out on our own and loved it. We went home and researched every thing we could about the vehicle; so we went back with more questions. The next day, we worked out a great deal on our awesome [redacted] Hybrid. Now, we are happily tooling around town and country and getting more than 30mpg!

Dave was a great, down to earth, gracious and informative salesman. We'll be back for our next vehicle.

I recently purchased a great used car from Arizona Car Sales. I am very happy with the vehicle. The salesman was absolutely professional and helpful and made my car buying experience extremely easy. I would highly recommend this business.

This was hands down the best car buying experience I have ever had at Arizona Car Sales. There was zero pressure and everyone was honest. The best part was not having to wait hours for finance and getting a warranty (5 years/100,000 miles) that was better than any certified car I've researched. Nobody lied to me, the car was as nice or nicer than I thought and the whole process took only 2 hours by the time I finally decided what I wanted to buy. Very happy with everything!

Review: On 07/19/2014 I purchased a 2013 FIAT 500 Abarth model car from Arizona Car Sales. I looked over the car very closely and found a couple of paint and body issues I brought to the salesman [redacted]'s attention. The paint was slightly discolored on the bumpers and the hood didn't seem to line up correctly? The salesman there ([redacted]) said "that is how all of these cars look." I then asked was this car in an accident or damaged and he said "no not at all, no damage or accident. It is like a brand new car." It made sense, the car is 6 months old and only had 8,990 miles on it. So convinced by the salesman the car was "like new and never had any damage" I bought the car. 2 days later while walking out to the car I noticed yet another flaw in the body which then I thought there might be a problem here? I sent it over to a body shop for inspection only to find, a repaired or replaced and repainted entire front bumper, driver fender, hood, driver rear corner and the entire rear bumper as well. This car has had significant body damage and most of the car has been repainted. Then on top of it all the factory FIAT dealer said the car would have to be inspected to determine the damage and how it was repaired in order to say the factory warranty would still cover the car. I have reached out to the dealer to discuss the issues only for them to get on the defensive and give me a hard time. I have spent an entire day out of work communicating with this dealer to resolve the issue with no real end in sight. I have been very rational and reasonable in asking for a simple resolution only to be threatened and pushed around. I was sold a car that was advertised as "like new and no damage or accidents" by their sales staff. And now unfortunately that is not the case. Im left with a $20k car, a payment and a significant lose in value because of this dealer. All I want is the car I was sold and promised without damage or mechanical issues moving forward.Desired Settlement: Im very easy to get along with and hate having to complain to get things done but all I want in the end here is the advertised car I was sold and thought I purchased.I would like a dealer certified FIAT body shop to go through the car and fix all of its issues so I do not have to worry moving forward about mechanical problems. Also would like the FIAT dealer to inspect the car to certify it is repaired properly and still retains all factory warranties. That is all. Just a repaired vehicle.

Therefore, according to this document, he does not hold Arizona Car Sales liable for any repairs of any kind that are not listed on this service due bill after purchase even if a defect occurs after delivery in this vehicle. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
We purchased a Kia from Arizona Used Car Sales in September of 2014. Dave was our salesman and he did great! The process was easy and it went smoothly.
In December of 2014, we traded the Kia in and upgraded to a Chevy Tahoe. We financed it through [redacted] (in-house).
In late December of 2014, we had a rainy day. We went out to our car and the cup holders were filled with water and our interior lights didn't work. I climbed up on the top of our car and there was a hole about 1.5" wide. I called and talked to Stewart. He apologized and sent me to his place ([redacted]) to have it fixed. Is all they did was put a gob of putty on it. It looked hideous. I had to pay to have it properly fixed.
In March of 2015, we refinanced the loan through [redacted] to get a better interest rate. We gave [redacted] a check paying off the loan in full. They gave me paperwork stating that they received payment and that it had been fully paid off.
In April of 2015, the car would not start. I towed it to [redacted] to have them check everything. They could not find anything. I then had it towed to my mechanic. They could not figure out why it would not start. I finally had it towed it to an ignition specialist. When I financed the loan through them, they installed a device in the car to turn it off from their office if I did not pay my bill. It malfunctioned and wouldn't let me start my car(or so they said). I had to pay a couple hundred dollars to have it removed. Arizona Used Car Sales/[redacted] refused to reimburse me.
In April of 2015, we received the title to give to [redacted]. They had mixed up our drivers license numbers, birthdays and misspelled my wife's name. We were more than understanding and worked with them over 3 weeks to get it corrected. We eventually received it and were able to give it to [redacted].
Around June of 2015, I ran a credit report and it was still showing an open loan with [redacted]. I called and spoke with Kara and she said that they had messed up but had resolved the issue.
Around October/November of 2015 I went to buy another car and the credit report still showed an open loan with [redacted]. I called Joy and she informed me that their previous finance manager (Kara) was replaced by her. Joy said that Kara had messed up on multiple loans and that they were in the process of fixing them all. She confirmed that mine had been fixed.
On January 30, 2016, I purchased a new car from [redacted]. When they ran my credit report, the credit bureaus are still showing an open loan from [redacted] with a balance of over $20,000. I called Joy and they said that there were no errors on their end and that I needed to call each and every credit bureau and dispute it with them. I would believe this had the loan not shown as open with a balance with EVERY credit bureau.
Absolute worst experience I have ever had when buying a car. Through this process, I did not receive an apologetic letter, card, gift card or anything to make up for all of their mistakes. I strongly urge that nobody purchase a car from this dealership. It has been nothing but [redacted] for me and my wife.

I had the best experience at Arizona Car Sales. I would highly recommend them. From the moment I contacted this company, They worked to make my dreams come true for me. From the phone gal Elizabeth, sales man Dave was fantastic, very patient with all my questions, To the final meditative room with Stewart where I had a relaxing signing. This was the best car buying experience of my entire life. Thank you guys for putting the smile back into the car buying experience. :) [redacted]
