He did not respond to this attempt to make things right.When he approached about receiving $1,100 for the materials, my response was that we would gladly forward him a payment of $500 so that the affected area could be repaired [there is nothing wrong with any of the other areas in the kitchen] by someone else, even though the affected area is about 1/8 the total area of the counters.
