Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this offer appear below:#There were no changes *** took off existing siding and put insulation around the house which was not even completed by the end of March although *** promised many times that all work would be completed in 4-weeks, despite the weather (I thought to myself maybe completed by mid-March.) See the attached picture and note the overhang has not been extended.*** stated in March that the roof sides should be extended because water was washing down behind the windows *** is a licensed contractor, and he should have realized this when he signed up for this job because that was the reason the siding was being replaced because The job should have been done well before mid-March June 4, *** sent me pictures of shingles to decide what color I wanted *** *** discontinued the existing shingles, therefore, *** added a different shingle to the edge of the extended sides of the roof This did not happen in March, April, May, but June Please note, *** never stated to us that this would be more money, NEVER asked for more money (maybe because he never answered his phone, nor did he acknowledge any texts from myself, nor my husband The decision was made within the week, *** ***, my interior designer personally went over to my house and picked out color and design I might note again, the job was supposed to be done in 4-weeks, this was in June and I was in Florida hiring contractors to work on our newly purchased home.#Permits It is not to the homeowners responsibility to pull a permit It is up to the CONTRACTOR *** said that since we were reusing the existing siding, and just doing repairs, we did not need a permit.# Door Wall *** knew what color, the blind style, hardware, etcfor the door wall in January The reason he waited so long was because he wanted his friend, who was a *** door installer, to do the work He again asked me for the specifications for the door, and I again, gave him the SAME specs, before I left for Florida in April All he had to do was go to *** and order the door, give them the specs, and we could of called *** and gave them the credit card information When I came home from Florida in July and found out *** never ordered the door, I was furious I met him at ***, ordered the door with the same specs that I had given *** in January,, in fact, *** already had given the sales rep the specs The door was in at ***, 1/weeks laterYes, as he stated, *** did not get any work done *** wanted 1/of the money down He only has spent approximately $6k of the $12k that we gave him On the surface floor of the deck, he was supposed to install *** flooring, but used a cheaper, less durable product That all has to be redone which will cost us $300-$more *** has not ordered shutters, railings, decorative brackets, trellises, nor remaining siding and shingles His worker texted us on on July stating, "...I worked on your house, give me a call if you need work on house Not working for *** he owes me money." His worker told us that *** does this to all his customers, hooks them, and takes forever to get the work done, or does not finish the job at all. Here is a picture of our house now, deck incomplete, along with no shutters, lights, porch railings, brackets, trim, gutters, down spouts The roof is incomplete, along with trim, on and on How long does it take to complete a week job? A year when you only work on it one day out of days *** quit when he read this complaint from the Revdex.com not because of change orders, there were none *** was hired to fix the house from the water that was washing behind the siding, whatever the reason Just excuse after excuse He is in debt, taking on too many jobs, and not completing any.Regards,
*** ***

Revdex.com, In the complaint, nothing is mentioned about all the change orders, or add on's.  Money was spent on additional materials, and labor.  Extra's include: Build soffit over hangs,  overhangs, and framing on front porch.  Install soffit, and trim.  Not once...

was money offered for additional work. Also would like to mention the slow decision making of the homeowner made the job progress slow down.It took 5 months to order a door wall, 3months for shingles to picked out.  The homeowner did not want a permit pulled for the job, but expected me to work there and for these reasons I had ceased work. I did not want to continue working for the homeowner who didn't respect my work ethics and trust me to get the work done in a proper manner governed by the State of Michigan and for my business.
