In the beginning he never said anything about it needing to be certified for highway use. He is also asking for $1100 when on his receipt it clearly shows that we only charged him $750. Another thing, on the top of the fuel tank there is a metal warning plate that states "not intended for transferring gasoline or other flammables. Not intended for an auxiliary fuel tank. Does not meet D.O.T specifications. So this all could of been avoided if Mr. B[redacted] had asked for the proper fuel tank.

To Whom It May Concern, unfortunately the customer and I do not see eye to eye on the situation that has come to light.  According to my mechanics, they did not touch the steering wheel and what may have occurred is "dry rot" on the steering wheel.  At this time we do not see any resolution that would be fair to all parties.  Thank you.

To the Revdex.com, I'm writing to you on behalf of Arizona Hitchman & Auto Tint in response to the customers complaint #9991525. As far as the scratch goes we would be willing to send her truck to a body shop we use and have it professionally fixed and painted. On the second issue, the hole in the rear fender skirting was necessary to cut in order to reach and release her handle to lock and unlock the gooseneck ball. Since then B&w has changed the location of their handle by lowering it so there is no cutting involved now.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I'm positive [redacted], who is the owners sister did this response. Thank you to [redacted], she has always been nice and understanding to us. The initial complaint I made with Revdex.com of Arizona explained in detail how I was treated when I went back a second time. The owner and his brother were both very rude and sided with eachothers on not fixing what was done. Like I said before, I call B&W Hitch headquarters and spoke with the installer. He also did not know why my truck was missing a chunk of the plastic lining. He said they do not require any type of alteration to any other part of a truck when installing a B&W turnover hitch except for what is needed. I sent pictures and B&W Hitch referred me to a local dealer who installs the hitches and they too didn't know why it was drilled the way it was. This is a brand new truck and Arizona Hitchman and Auto Tint damaged my vehicle. My 2012 Dodge Dually also has the same hitch and their is no cut out of any kind in the plastic lining of the truck, nor was it deeply scratched the way my new truck is. In response for me not contacting Arizona Hitchman after the complaint I made is because of how rude the owner and his brother were at the time. I would not go back there without a police escort. As for the repairs Arizona Hitchman takes blame for. I would prefer to take my truck back to the dealership where I purchased it and let them do the body work where the damages were made. I bought the truck brand new and I had confidence Arizona Hitchman would have done a good job, just as they did my 2003 F250. I had numerous work done on that truck with Arizona Hitchman and I had no problems. I had the same intention when I returned for service and I was sadly disappointed. I looked at reviews about Arizona Hitchman and found they do have un-happy customers, who complained about the owner and his temper.Regards,[redacted]###-###-####

Since then B&w has changed the location of their handle by lowering it so there is no cutting involved now.

Hello I am writing this email on behalf on Arizona Hitchman & Auto Tint regarding case #[redacted]. When we installed the B&W turnover gooseneck it was done the same way as all of the other 2014 Dodge 3500's were done. on the driver's side under the rear wheel well there is a plastic piece that...

is connected to the body. In order to use the turnover ball you have to either remove the plastic piece or cut out a piece big enough which is roughly 6 to 8 inches so the handle of the gooseneck can be pulled out to lock and unlock the gooseneck ball. Since the plastic piece is attached to the body if you do not cut out or remove the plastic piece then you will not be able to put your hand under the plastic piece to pull your handle. As far as the scratch goes on the vehicle, when our installer was drilling the drill got binded up and it twisted causing it to scratch the vehicle. After leaving and showing the job to her husband she called and said she wanted the scratch to be taken care of and she wanted a new plastic piece to be installed in place of the cut one. The owner talked to her and told her that he would take her truck to a body shop that we get work done at and would get it professionally fixed and painted. As far as the plastic piece the owner explained that if even if he were to buy a new plastic piece and install it, that they would not be able to use their turnover ball because they would not be able to reach their handle because the plastic piece would be covering the handle. The only two options they had were to remove the plastic piece completely or to leave the one that we cut. So after the owner explained to her options to get this matter resolved she said she would tell her husband and get back to us. So up until we received this letter in the mail at the end of May 2015 we have not received any phone calls from the customer.

I had a fifth wheel hitch installed in my truck. When I called I told them I currently have the mounts on my truck they are under rated for my trailer though and need higher rated mounts installed. They said no problem and can squeeze me in same day. So I had them install it and picked it up just before they closed. Got home and looked at the install work and they did not swap out the mounts. They used what was already on my truck, painted them black to look better and called it good. They charged me for new mounts and the install of them. I called the next day([redacted]) and talked to the owner. I asked if he knew what all they did becauee it looks like they did not change the mounts and just mounted new rails in and charged me for a full install. He said yes it already had the mounts they use so they left them in. I said ok why did I get charged for new mounts and a the full install. He said they still had to check the existing bolts and add new ones for the rails. I again said ok thats fine, but why did I get charged for the full install of the mounts when you didnt mount them and I didnt buy any from you. He said again that they had to tighten bolts so it is what it is then hung up the phone on me. I wasn't trying to get free work or parts from them, just didn't seem fair for me to pay him for parts and services that I did not recieve. I was blowm away with his "customer service" especially when he hung the phone up on me. Their website says 100% satisfaction guaranteed, I am not satisfied and seems like I will not get any where with them. Be careful doing business with them.

Thank you.
