Arizona Leak Detection Reviews (12)

I definitely have a leak in my swimming pool I did the bucket test, which I mentioned to *** at Az Leak Detection in our initial conversation It would seem to me the only reason to call a leak detection company is you would have a leak to repair
It would also seem to me, as a business owner with integrity, if you cannot schedule a repair for 8-days out that you would mention it to the potential client before you made the appointment, especially concerning a water leak
I did not dream that they could not do the repairs within or days but, the end of next week? I would have hired another leak detection service who could have fixed it right away Arizona Leak Detection is not the only game in town
Now I have paid $to detect the leak which took less than an hour and I have to go elsewhere for the repair as *** said He also said that Az Leak Detection would take into consideration that if they detect the leak the repair would be estimated at a reduced rate If that is true for his company would that not be true for all the other leak detection/repair companies? Someone else who will have to concur with Az Leak Detection about the leak and that of course will take extra time towards a repair job
I am thoroughly disgusted with Az Leak Detection

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
*** did not respond to this issue until I made a complaint to the Revdex.com, and his employee did not mention a $service charge over the phoneI have used many plumbers in the past and never received a $show up feeI would be interested in seeing some sort of service rates for his company that are postedI will have to take responsibility for not asking before they came out because the answer would have been NO! You would think with such a high fee to for showing up that this might be a problem with most people and that they would make an effort to make it perfectly clear so as to avoid this
In *** e-mail he states he will remove the filter and refund our money, to this day he has done neither and has not responded to us since*** has our address so he can send us a check, the filter sets in front of the house and can be removed at any time
Regards,
*** ***

Our Service charge for a leak detection is $That is a show up charge, not an hourly chargeWe do not charge hourly for the first hour because it is included in our callOur standard call for up to an hour is $This is explained on the phone to anyone that callsI am sorry that the
customer did not understand the charges, but we do not work for freeTo state there is no charge for the first hour, than say he should owe nothing is an unfortunate misunderstanding*** As the customer said, we will remove the unitPlease provide us with the customers schedule***

I called Arizona Leak Detection and they came to my house and found the leak to be under my skimmer in the suction line of my poolI had explained to them what was happeneingI was not home when they did the testing and have asked several times for a report as to what they didAll I would get is an invoice that says they found the leak and where it was and the amount to fix itI have called to get a report as to what was done and they say they will get back to you and then don'tI have talked to *** and they said *** will sent it to my email and that was a week ago and no email was receivedALSO I had the report done on March 26th and it was about $for the repairs so I checked around and had someone else repair what they said was leaking , filled the pool up and it is still leakingI called them back to have them come check for another leak as where they said was leaking was fixed and they said they only have a day warranty of thier serviceNo where on thier site does it say day warranty nor on the invoice showing I paid and now they won't recheck itNOT a reliable companyThey got thier money and they are doneI would NOT recommend this company nor use them ever again

As you can see in the e-mails provided. I have offered to refund the money on the water conditioner. As you can see in my response to Mr. [redacted] I clearly outlined that our standard charge for leak detection is $225.00. I also informed him that hourly rates begin after the first hour. I have submitted the e-mail and copy of the original invoice for the sewer smell. As you can see we did our due diligence by giving the customer the information they asked for.

In Febuary my son in law called this company to detect a leak in my spa. They scheduled an appointment and did not show up. When my son in law called to see where they were they said I don't know who you are and hung up. Finally they showed up and within an hour supposively tested not only the spa but the pool as well and charged my card $450.00. They left no report or any evidence of a leak detected. Finally in April a report was emailed to my son in law. It claimed that a pressure test showed a leak in the return line and water was leaking inside the wall of the pool. A blue mark was reportedly left where it was. There was no mark left. I hired another company to come out and perform the test. Unlike Arizona Leak they used a water pressure test which is much more reliable. The test was done 3 times without any pressure failure. He did find debris on a valve that was keeping it from closing and causing water to leak into the pool. It is now working perfect and it only cost $150.00. I would not recommend this company to anyone for not only poor performance but inconsiderate customer relations.

I was not home when they did the testing and have asked several times for a report as to what they did. All I would get is an invoice that says they found the leak and where it was and the amount to fix it. I have called to get a report as to what was done and they say they will get back to you and then don't. I have talked to [redacted] and they said [redacted] will sent it to my email and that was a week ago and no email was received. ALSO I had the report done on March 26th and it was about $1500 for the repairs so I checked around and had someone else repair what they said was leaking , filled the pool up and it is still leaking. I called them back to have them come check for another leak as where they said was leaking was fixed and they said they only have a 30 day warranty of thier service. No where on thier site does it say 30 day warranty nor on the invoice showing I paid and now they won't recheck it. NOT a reliable company. They got thier money and they are done. I would NOT recommend this company nor use them ever again.
