I grew up in California where I have been booking jobs since I was about years oldI did a lot of extra and promo work as well and I have always enjoyed itNow, I'm not a supermodel but I always had luck in this industryAfter a year of living out here to attend ASU, I decided to look into getting involved in another agencyI noticed right away (on social media) that [redacted] was constantly congratulating her actors and models on jobs they were booking and so I thought she would be a good fit for me About weeks after I signed with her I got an email from her telling me about an "amazing opportunity" she wanted me to take advantage ofThis was a photoshoot she was putting togetherAt first I was incredibly excited and grateful she had thought of meHowever, reading further into the email I realized she sent me this out of sheer desperationShe would go on to explain how her original model (basically, her FIRST pick) bailed out on her on the last minute and she was desperate from what I understoodAs my excitement turned into insult, I decided to take the shoot anywayI figured having the extra photos would make my portfolio larger and [redacted] could see me in actionBoy was I WRONG When I arrived at the shoot I found out I would be working with another modelThis girl was beautiful and obviously close with ***I became extremely insecure and nervous since I had only done a FEW shootsAs soon as we began..that was when I realized...she didn’t REALLY need me to be thereAs I watched the other model do her first half of the shoot, [redacted] would continue to compliment, direct and help the model to "get the best shot." When it was my turn[redacted] was NOWHERE to be foundShe would spend the ENTIRE shoot following around the other model, talking her up and basically kissing her a**In the end...my pictures looked AWFULLater, I would find out she got the other model's pictures published This was my ONE experience I had with *** After that..NOTHINGEvery week since then..the SAME girls get bookedNot to mention, these are the same girls who get to help run the AMAM booth at any major eventsAnd I’m not the only one who feels like thisI have since stopped responding to any "casting calls" because I already know who's getting booked

I grew up in California where I have been booking jobs since I was about 12 years old. I did a lot of extra and promo work as well and I have always enjoyed it. Now, I'm not a supermodel but I always had luck in this industry. After a year of living out here to attend ASU, I decided to look into getting involved in another agency. I noticed right away (on social media) that [redacted] was constantly congratulating her actors and models on jobs they were booking and so I thought she would be a good fit for me.
About 2 weeks after I signed with her I got an email from her telling me about an "amazing opportunity" she wanted me to take advantage of. This was a photoshoot she was putting together. At first I was incredibly excited and grateful she had thought of me. However, reading further into the email I realized she sent me this out of sheer desperation. She would go on to explain how her original model (basically, her FIRST pick) bailed out on her on the last minute and she was desperate from what I understood. As my excitement turned into insult, I decided to take the shoot anyway. I figured having the extra photos would make my portfolio larger and [redacted] could see me in action. Boy was I WRONG. When I arrived at the shoot I found out I would be working with another model. This girl was beautiful and obviously close with [redacted]. I became extremely insecure and nervous since I had only done a FEW shoots. As soon as we began..that was when I realized...she didn’t REALLY need me to be there. As I watched the other model do her first half of the shoot, [redacted] would continue to compliment, direct and help the model to "get the best shot." When it was my turn...[redacted] was NOWHERE to be found. She would spend the ENTIRE shoot following around the other model, talking her up and basically kissing her a**. In the end...my pictures looked AWFUL. Later, I would find out she got the other model's pictures published.
This was my ONE experience I had with [redacted]. After that..NOTHING. Every week since then..the SAME 5 girls get booked. Not to mention, these are the same girls who get to help run the AMAM booth at any major events. And I’m not the only one who feels like this. I have since stopped responding to any "casting calls" because I already know who's getting booked.
