Arizona Premium Finance Co. Inc. Reviews (11)

My name is [redacted] and I called on 2/19/2014 to handle a debt. I originally spoke with a woman by the name of [redacted],who not only hung up in me when I asked her to take the base out of her voice, but she also informed me that she had no last name for my records. I then called back, to speak with the manager, by the name of [redacted]. He retrieved my phone call to inform me that it was none of my business of why their phone calls were not recorded.. When I spoke with [redacted] she neither asked me what type of card I would be using but accused me of using an American Express card. I will not pay this debt until someone in hire management returns my phone call promotly, at ###-###-####. Their customer service is unacceptable and no one should have to encounter the type of respect that I received when I called. Thank you for reading this review and hopefully someone with respect will return my phone call so that I can get this settled.

In regards to account #[redacted] the insurance was cancelled because the vehicle was in the process of being a livery service. The car was registered on 04/03/2015 with the NYS DMV as a livery vehicle. I no longer needed personal coverage as the livery coverage replaced the current insurance. As far as added premiums there were only two. One was for $39 on 11/10/2014 for a discount that was given on anti-lock brake system but then later revoked and the second added premium was in the amount of $545 billed (but never paid) on 02/06/2015 do to a change of address. There was never a check issued to Allstate on my behalf for $143 on 12/02/2014. I would like to see a copy of this so called check.

My initial payments started off at $103.51 and jumped up in December 2014 to $121.19.  On December 30th, I made an installment of $130 (including a $5 late fee). In January, I paid $105.24 (no late fee), in February 2015 I paid $110.24 (including a $5 late fee), in March 2015 I made two payments. The first payment was for $115.24 (including a $5 late fee) on 03/04/15 and then another payment of $142 (no late fee) on 03/17/15. The $142 was claimed to have been an additional premium that was owed. This policy was overpaid by over $200. This is not the first time APF has been accused in inaccurately reporting frivolous debt to the credit reports nor is it the first time they have been accused of taking extra money that is due to the customer. According to the Revdex.com, there have been 4 similar issues in the past.

When I first contacted APF, I was and DID speak to a woman who claimed her name was Diane and hung up on several times. I was also given three separate amounts of how much was financed. I am submitting my request to my cell phone company to obtain a call detail report to show the numerous calls made to APF.

Yesterday, 04/06/2016, I called APF requesting a payment history be sent to me. I spoke with the same woman who told me her name was Diane the day before. She placed me on hold two separate times. The first time she came back to the phone and said "we'll go ahead and get that mailed out to you but we don't have a good address for you". I told her I didn't want it mailed because I didn't want them having my address because I do not feel comfortable and she said "well I talked to the owner and he said he'd mail it to you". I told her I would give her my fax number or email to receive the documentation. She then put me on hold again and came back and said "ma'am, yeah (laugh) he said that we'll fax it to you, what's the fax number". I gave her my fax number. I also asked why they just couldn't give me the information over the phone and she said I didn't ask for that. She then began giving me some of the amounts and then got irate and said "you know what I'm just going to fax it to you" and hung up.

As of today, 04/07/2016 I still did not receive the fax so I called APF company again. This time, I spoke with a male (nobody gives out their name at this company). I told him I never received the fax that they said they would fax to me. He said "ok, ok, what, wha, who are you and what are you calling about?" I reiterated I am calling because someone told me they would fax me the information and never did. He replied "I know, but what is, what is your name." I gave him my name, he asked if I know who I spoke with I told him no because she wouldn't give me her name. He said "okay, and wha, what did you need ma'am?" Again, I told him I needed a copy of the payments made on this policy. He asked for my fax number, I gave it to him and he resaid it back to me and said "and you need an account inquiry, account history I should say". I asked if that would show the payments he said yes it's called a back screen. I asked him if I would get it today and he said "yes, it shouldn't be a problem."

After 2 hours went by and I still did not get the fax I called to see if I would get it before they closed. I spoke to the same woman I spoke to the other day. I told her I was waiting on a fax that I was supposed to get yesterday and never did and spoke with someone earlier who also said they'd fax it today and I haven't received it and wanted to call before they close. She said "actually, that was given to Jay and I'm not sure um if he faxed it or not he's not in the office right now would you like his voicemail?" I told her that nobody faxed it yet and am just going to request the information over the phone and he response was "no, you (laughed again) you can um, I'll check with him to see if he actually faxed it, ok?" Again I told her he did not fax it yet because it comes directly to my email and she asked if I wanted his voicemail again. I said no and she transferred me anyways.

I called again for the third time and this time I spoke to the guy that I had spoken to this afternoon who said he would fax me the back screen. This time he said to me "it shows on the account it was sent to you today." I told him it was not sent to me because the fax comes directly to my email and he said "yes it was, it was mailed to your last known address." I told him I told them they don't have a good address for me and he said again "it was mailed to your last known address per the owner of the company. That's the only way he's going to send it." I told him I don't live there anymore and they know that and said they would fax it and he just kept saying "it was mailed to your last known address. I guess you didn't want to give them your current address so it was mailed to your last known. It's not going to be faxed ma'am. it was mailed to your last known address if you want to give the best address it'll be mailed there." I told him again I didn't want to give out my address for personal reasons of fear of the owner of the company and he said then too bad you're not getting it.

These people will harass you over and over again. I have aak them to stop calling my home and sending me mail. Its been over seven years since I cancelled my insurance with them. But as of today they still call and sent mail to my home. I do not intend to ever pay for something I did not tell them to add on.

Review: Company representatives have failed to provide accurate information, to dispute charges that where sent to a collection agency. The charges are in question due to facts of there services being unknowingly being used and when brought to attention have failed to provide any helpful customer service or options on how to dispute, or clarify charges sent to there collections department. I do not mind paying what I owe but when I am being falsely charged by a company I have never heard of I would like a little more incentive then to contact a credit bureau when they have my personal information on hand. This problem has now escalated over the course of time leading into a length of almost a year. I would like for this to be out of collection and handled in a more professional manner or for the lack of assistance and poor customer service these charges be removed.Desired Settlement: for the charges to be removed from collections and a letter apologizing for poor customer service.

Review: They owe me money and I have provided documents showing the

Amount they owe me but they continue to harass me saying I owe

Them this money. This happened in 2006 and they never sent me my money

But sent me a letter in 2011 that I owed themDesired Settlement: They stop harassing me

Review: I used Arizona Premium Finance back in 2014-2015. I cancelled my policy in April of 2015 to get livery insurance. Just recently I was checking my credit report and I see that APF had reported a frivolous debt in violation of the [redacted]. I contacted APF this morning about my account. I then had to contact [redacted] to verify the information APF gave me and the information APF gave me was incorrect. When I tried calling APF a woman kept hanging up on me and refused to give me her name. I had to call 15 times just to get back in touch with someone at APF. The first time I called, I spoke with a gentleman with an accent who said they paid [redacted] a total amount of $1,223. I then called [redacted] back to find out what happened to the extra money and to confirm how much the policy was which they advised me it was $1,184 and in December it went up $39 due to my [redacted] discount being retracted. I then called AFP back and spoke to "Diane". This "Diane" lady told me they only paid $1,204 to [redacted]. I told her I would call her back after I spoke with [redacted] again. I called [redacted] back and spoke with Ron. Ron advised me that APF only sent them $953. In January, [redacted] reimbursed APF $107 for my accident prevention course, and $355 in April when I cancelled the policy. [redacted] also said they billed APF $545 for a premium which APF NEVER paid. I then called APF back again and Diane said she was transferring me to the collections department. When I got transferred to Craig, I asked what department I was in and Craig said there was no specific department and he answers general questions. I asked Craig how much APF paid to [redacted] and he said that they only paid $1,061. I began to question him on why the numbers keep changing every time I call and it seems like fraud. I also advised that tis is violating my rights and the [redacted] by reporting a frivolous account. I got transferred to Jay, president of the company. He hung up on me after I said I was contacting the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: Not only am I requesting that this be removed from my credit report, I am also requesting the $107 to be refunded to me that [redacted] credited to my insurance. This company is a fraud and a scam.

Review: Arizona premium finance claims that I owe them money after I canceled my insurance policy that they financed. When I called to cancel their representative that I spoke to checked to make sure I was not owed any balance for early cancelation and also do not owe them. A letter was sent to me to confirm the above.Desired Settlement: I owe no money to this company and want them to stop the harassing phone calls and threats to ruin my credit.

My name is [redacted] and I called on 2/19/2014 to handle a debt. I originally spoke with a woman by the name of [redacted],who not only hung up in me when I asked her to take the base out of her voice, but she also informed me that she had no last name for my records. I will not pay this debt until someone in hire management returns my phone call promotly, at ###-###-####. Their customer service is unacceptable and no one should have to encounter the type of respect that I received when I called. Thank you for reading this review and hopefully someone with respect will return my phone call so that I can get this settled.

Review: I got a taxi insurance through this finance company named Arizona premium finance co. INC. My total premium was $9,698.71. I had to make 9 payments of $824.20 and I paid down payment of $ 2,281.00. My policy was effective from March 2013 to March 2014, where my 9 payments are till December 2013, and from December 2013 to March 2014, I do not have to make any payments since I paid down payment. So, now I already made 8 payments, and I was two days late for my 9 th payment so on December 16, 2013 ARIZONA PREMIUM cancelled my insurance. So I didn't make that 9th payment. When the finance company cancelled my payment, they had to electronically inform my insurance company; so that my insurance will refund my down payment that I paid already. After December, I have been waiting for my refund, but I never got any. I called the insurance and asked, and they said, that my insurance is not cancelled, and is still active, thus I do not get any refund. They also said, if your policy is cancelled, then your finance company should inform us electronically, but they never did, so your policy is active. So I called Arizona finance company again and told them, they are like we do not know/care, it’s your responsibility to make the 9th payment. SO, now I have lost my $2,281 down payment and I didn't work for 3 months, also, finance company even though it’s their fault that they didn't inform, they are threatening me that I should pay my 9th payment and they are saying they are not responsible for my refund. I talked to the supervisor at Arizona premium finance, and his name is [redacted] he was very ignorant, rude, person and kept saying you owe us 9th payment of $824.20; he was like I do not care about the insurance company refund its your problem not my problem. well, If the finance company informed it properly I would have got my refund, and they would have took my 9th payment from the refund. Arizona premium finance Co. failed to inform my insurance company electronically that my insurance has been cancelled, thus my insurance company kept my policy active till march 2014, and I lost my refund, plus Arizona is asking me to pay the 9th payment of $824.20 other wise, threatening that they would report to the credit bureau. They keep sending me letters and talking very very rude on the phone. Worst customer service ever.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my refund back, Since its their fault to inform the insurance company, they should do something to refund my down payment and also, I will not pay this 9th payment of $ 824.20 since I lost my refund. Also, they cannot and should not report me to credit bureau, because, its their fault. They don't even know how to do the paper works and all. It is their fault that they didn't inform electronically to the insurance company.

They are complete rip off's just because they have a crappy web site set up for payments that does not process payments for up to 2 business days you still will be charged the late charge. First of all the web site does not even tell you any information of how much your payment is or what they will be charging to your account. BE AWARE.
