Arizona Restoration Pros Reviews (%countItem)

On Monday, February 17, 2020, Arizona Resoration Pros responded and came to my home, as I was concerned about progressing, but minimal water damage in a small area affecting two base moulding that had quickly swelled. Each based moulding was approximately two feet apart. A 100% moisture reading was explained to me as present in this small area. Removal of the two foot accompanying based board revealed recent water marks, though no standing water. Three fans were placed and directed on the area of the baseboard. At no other time was I consulted or was information shared regarding moisture readings or damage. Within the subsequent days, laminated wood flooring was removed from part of the adjacent hallway (bathroom entry) as well as part of the wood flooring in the bedroom that was aligned with the space in hallway. This was removed with my knowledge or consent and I did not understand why this part of the bedroom flooring was removed. Two 2x2 holes were made in the outer bathroom walls. The underneath of the bathtub was exposed. There was no evidence of leak. The owner of Arizona Restoration Pros speculated the it was the hall bathtub diverter, though there was no subsequent evidence of water or moisture readings. The vanity in the master bath was removed. The workman found no problem, though were unsure as to what the diverter was, when I asked them. The owner, Paul did not return to my home and examine the diverter. The next and final day, Thursday February 20th, Paul called and said they would have to remove the other vanity. I said there is no justification for yet another vanity to be removed. Within minutes a worker from the company arrived to take the fans. I had requested, previously, that they be removed since they had not been in operation since approximately 2 PM on Tuesday. I have not heard from the Arizona Restoration Pros since that day. My insurance company, State Farm, has had no communication from them either, since the initial contact at my request when they arrived on Monday the 17th. American Leak Detection arrived on Thursday the 27th and determined no Leak. And inspector from Statefarm has expressed concerns that unnecessary demolition occured that essentially eliminated any evidence of water damage. As no report or pictures have been presented to Statefarm by Arizona Restoration Pros, it is impossible to determine the damage, as only demolition is evidenced.

When *** called, we responded immediately. There was water present in her home from an unknown source. Once onsite, we had a wok authorization signed (attached) which allows us to preform emergency services to mitigate the loss. As part of our emergency service mitigation, we needed to remove the affected materials baseboard, flooring, and drill holes in drywall to allow for cavity drying. We did take some initial measures to try to locate the leak, as the water was coming from no obvious source. The homeowner has never provided us with any claim number or any point of contact from her insurance company. Although there was no leak found, we responded based on the homeowners claim of water in her home when she called. We still do not know the source of the water, but we do know water was was present in the structure when we arrived (picture attached). The removal of materials and procedure followed was warranted based on the conditions we found when we arrived. I will reach out to *** to get claim information and share any and all documentation we have regarding this matter. I am also available to answer any further questions *** or any other involved party may have.

When I contacted Arizona Restoration Pros, *** involved me in the original meter reading of 100% in a small area associated with the 2 foot baseboard adjacent to the bathroom. He dad the work order and spoke to a representative of my insurance company, State Farm. No claim number was issued at that time. *** said he was leaving for Phoenix and would not return until Friday and I could give the claim info when received. I received claim info the next day. The crew from Arizona Restoration Pros was unable or unwilling to take the info, so I called their office and gave the claim number and other information to Danille on Tuesday February 18, 2020. No other meter moisture readings were shared with me, nor was I shown any other water damage other than the small base board. I don't know why the flooring was removed in the bedroom. The vanity in the master bath was removed at Paul's insistence. He was certain it was a diverter on the hall bathtub and must be viewed from behind the vanity. He did not return to assess the diverter. A workman was uncertain as to what and where the diverter was, but that he would tell Paul everything was okay. I was told that they would continue to look for the leak and was told that I should let them keep removing fixtures while looking. I asked them to stop and brought in American Leak Defectors. Paul discouraged this and said they(ALD) have a relationship with State Farm implying collusion. If they was a leak they could find it without tearing up my house, needlessly. ALD quickly found no leak with the appropriate equipment. I have repeatedly suggested that a small amount of water was probably displaced from behind while bathing. The water would have made a path to the small crevice in the baseboard and cause swelling in the highly porous moulding. As I have seen no evidence of other damage, I conclude my flooring was unnecessarily removed. No other meter moisture readings were shared with me nor was the flooring shown to me. I am also puzzled as to why American Leak Detection, who did not have to remove anything to determine a leak was disparaged and their involvement was discouraged by Arizona Restoration Pros. There was also no evidence of further water or moisture in the subsequent 3 days.

In conclusion; Insurance Claim information was presented directly to Danille at Arizona Restoration Pros with 24 hours. Unwarranted, unexplained demolition was done to my home. A company with leak detection equipment was discouraged in favor of continued unnecessary demolition. My trust in the professionals does not extend to having my home needlessly destroyed while they hunt for something so easily and non invasively determined by another professional.

I have since spoken to *** and received the needed claim information and reached out to the claims adjuster but have not heard back from anyone at State Farm. She said she had given the information to me before, I apologized and said I must have misplaced it.We had never been made aware that the water came from a bathtub overflow. If we had know this, we would not have put effort into finding the source, nor would have leak detectors been called to preform an inspection. I specifically called *** to ask her if she had any idea how the water may have gotten on the floor/ baseboards and reassured her that accidents are a covered loss under insurance policies so she wouldn't have to worry about a lack of coverage if something did in fact happen. She insisted, nothing of this nature occurred. I will continue to reach out to Sate Farm this week but if I do not get a response, I will submit our invoice to them as it stands. Once I communicate with State Farm, we can return to the home to make the repairs related to the claim. At this point, we have not requested any funds from the homeowner.

Had a water leak. Contacted my insurance company Nationwide. They recommended Arizona Restoration Pros. mitigation took place 09/16/19 at my home. during demolition of dry wall existing water heater and bathroom vanity were damage. Had to replace both items. I requested an adjustment to coverage for replacement. Danielle Robin field adjuster for Arizona Restoration Pros stated she would be in touch. Never heard back and I received a letter from *** stating that 09/15/19 amount of $5,698.91 plus interest of 47.49, and attorney fees $6,246.40 Total due by 11/18/19 or additional liens and fines would be placed on property. Appears extremely aggressive with no rebuttal to my claim for adjustment.

We responded to an emergency service call for Mr. and worked within the standard of our industry to mitigate the damage. I have been reasonably willing to settle with this homeowner as we do make mistakes and will compensate for them when dictated by reason and fairness. However, the vanity that the homeowner is asking for us to pay for has already been paid for/ replaced by his insurance company and it was affected by blackwater and is therefore non - salvageable. We did not cause undue damage to this vanity. Additionally, and with regard to the water heater - the homeowner has not been able to provide pictures of the damage. When I asked Mr. for pictures of the damaged water heater all he could provide was a picture of the new installed water heater. Seeing a picture of a new water heater does not in any way explain how or where we caused damage to the original one. If those pictures were provided we would have been willing to reach an agreement with him. We have yet to be presented with these pictures.

Az Restoration is a predatory company, in my opinion. I sent my concerns to their field adjuster. Within two weeks a lawyer sent a threatening letter to pay the full amount with an additional $500 for lawyer fees and $50 interest fee. I believe this company’s overcharge insurance to enrich themselves. I stop them from doing the rebuilt of my drywall, because I was afraid I would get stuck with a bill my insurance company would not pay. This company is a predatory company to quick with their collection process. I had to seek out a lawyer of my own to negotiate on my behalf.

Would like to move the mediation process to a complaint and have nothing further to do with this bunch.

Sincerely,

Mr.

Home owner

This complaint has been settled between our attorneys (as of Thursday 12/5) and is resolved - I do not know why Mr. is still reporting this as unresolved.

Loved working with this company! From the first call to the last one and everything in between! Great service and I highly recommend them.

Called Tucson Saltillo Tile or another name is Arizona Restoration Pros to have my patio tile stripped & resealed. Talked w/*** 3x to make sure
They came out power washed the tile, when done it was slippery you couldn't walk on it ALSO some of tile they used a razor blade to and it scratched the tile. They came out the next day after I complained and power washed it again, not better. It looks scrapped up and some tile are scratched. I asked for my $550.00 back and *** the owner said no way. I even came down to $500.00. NO way was he to budge, not it's going to cost me over $1,900.00 to get it right. I do not recommend this company. He also told me that outside patio tile should not be looking real nice cause it is weathered! Funny I've seen several homes that the tile looks the way mine used to. I have had ***, for Handyman come out & look at the comment he gave me was they should have never left a job looking like it does. My husband is disabled and he can NOT walk on the patio.

Once we had completed the the work, there was an issue with the floor being slippery, we went back and re-did the job and the problem seemed to be solved. We did not know there was still an issue until the complaint was received in the mail.

We have made contact with the customer to work towards a resolution. She seems to be open to having us find a contractor to come in and fix the tiles to make sure they are no longer slippery.

We are looking for someone to contract and fix the issues with her tile. We are trying to find someone viable to do this work. It is becoming apparent that many companies will not work outdoors until the summer heat decreases.

Customer service is paramount to this company and if mistakes are made we will always make it right.

Val, referencing my compliant with Tucson Saltillo Tile. I talked with *** at Tucson Tile and we have came to a resolution. They came back and stripped the tile on July 23 and it is not slippery any more but the tile's do not look like it they should. So we have agreed that I am being refunded my money and we are both satisfied that is the best solution for them and me. *** worked with me and I do appreciate that.

After an unforeseen water line irruption and damage, this company has been a God sent. They have been their every step, taking the lead to deal with my insurance company. They really have helped me understand the process, and have been truthful and honest through it all. Their integrity and commitment to the customer show from day one and never falters. The stress that comes with the ignorance of the process, insurance, the unknown, is immense. They make you feel you are not just a job to them. They really do care and are there for you, the customer. You are not just that homeowners claim number. They have gone above and beyond the services I expected. I would recommend them 1000 times over. They give prompt service, are on time and very courteous and professional. This is the company is more than A+, gold star company.
