On 5/5/ Mr *** had a reservation for adults and child for a tour departing at 2pm At 2pm they had not yet arrived so we called them to see if they needed directions- they did not answer We waited until min after 2pm, then advised the Guide to go ahead with the
tour Just then, Mr*** arrived with his party, walking across our parking lot We advised the Guide to wait, and checked the *** party in for their tour Their child was under and required a carseat (which they had been advised of when they made the reservation), and Mr*** stated they had left it in the car He then walked several blocks to the parking lot and obtained the carseat Meanwhile we arrqanged the other guests so that the carseat could be installed These guests were VERY patient! By then the tour was min late When Mr*** returned he stated that it was not safe to put the carseat in the back of the jeep and wanted to put the child in the front seat ***, the owner, advised Mr*** we had been doing tours for years and it was perfectly safe in the back, and that the airbags plus the requirement that the child needed a parent next to them prohibited the use of the front seat Mr*** then got very belligerent with *** and demanded his money back *** was in the process of assisting other guests for another tour and Mr*** became very aggressive and began yelling and swearing at *** in our office *** told MrMarrtin to leave the property or he was going to call the police Mr*** continued to threaten ***, so he called *** ** who arrived in only a few min Mr*** yelled more obscinities and ‘flipped’ *** off The Police escorted Mr*** off of our property.Mr *** initiated a chargeback with his credit card company, which we won due to our cancellation policy Mr*** made very rude and bad comments about our business on *** *** and***, which we were able to have removed.*** ***ManagerSafari Jeep Tours

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Its hard to even imagine a response that is further from the truth as to what happened. Nearly every detail they provide is untrue and could not be supported with any documentation to support it. This has been truly the worst experience I have ever had from a company and I will continue to provide negative reviews every chance I get to let people know what terrible, lying cheats this company is. In any event, the police were never called (except by me) and certainly never came to the location. My negative review (along with several others) are still up at [redacted]. I never posted one at [redacted], though I am headed over to do that now. I was never told I needed a car seat until we went to get in the jeep. I never went to get mine, which I wouldn't because their jeeps are death traps for car seats. They did get away on a technicality with the credit card company, the small print on the brochure did say 24 hour cancellation. I did yell at the thieving jerks. I wished I had yelled more. If I lived closer I would be in Court on the principle alone.  In even event, if I company wants to make a business from ripping off tourists, I guess there is not much that can be done about it. Overall, between my child's safety, and donating $300 to a ripoff artist, I am going to choose my child's safety everyday.
