Arizona Seller Financing Reviews (4)

Buyer signed a contract to purchase a home with earnest money that would be forfeited if he cancelled.  Buyer also signed an "agreement to terms" that stipulated if the buyer cancelled after the inspection period has was subject to losing his deposit.  Buyer cancelled and his deposit was...

forfeited per the terms of the contract.

I will prepare a written invoice and send it to the buyer per the customers request.

Please let Mr [redacted] know we will refund the remaining $1,000 balance of his deposit to him on or before April 30, 2014 provided he drops his complaint regarding this matter.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,

Several reasons but to answer their response a home inspection was scheduled for 3-11-14 but could not be kept because the property had a major electrical violation and electric power would not be supplied to property until repaired per [redacted] Not only that but I was told if I paid to have work done the amount I spent would be reimbursed at closing but I would have to waive my right to a home inspection. Then I was sent a contract to sign that had no mention of money back to me, showed a second lien on property and was forcing me to sign a rental/lease agreement with a company that had no legal ownership in property. I then and now do not see how any of this was my fault. I felt I tried to compromise but the risk out weighed any benefit to me.

+1

Review: $1,000 of my money was not returned and they refuse to give me a written summary of where it went and why I was allegedly at fault.Desired Settlement: Return my money or give me an itemized invoice in writing and explanation of why I was at fault, legal actions will follow.
