Arizona Tile Reviews (3)

Review: I purchased 2 slabs of Sea Foam Green granite from Arizona Tile and had them fabricated by a fabricator for my kitchen countertops. When picking the slabs they are placed against a wall to view. Once they were installed and laid down flat on my counter I immediately saws that the slabs were completely covered with spots as if they were dirty. I asked the installer why they looked like that and he said that was the slab that I picked out. I was not told at Arizona Tile that Sea Foam green look pitted and dirty when it was laid down.I have never seen any granite before or after this that looks like this.I have returned to look at other color slabs and they are all shiny. They sent a counter top refinisher to my house([redacted]) and as soon as he walked in he said it was really bad and he could not fix it. My backsplash tiler said they were defective and need to go! Arizona Tile said they would not replace the countertops.Desired Settlement: Replace countertops with an equal value granite or Quartz that is shinny and compensation for backsplash material if it can no longer be returned as this issue has taken so long to resolve. If I can return it there will be a 25% restocking fee plus shipping. The cost of the backslash material is approximately $900.

Review: I purchased a granite slab from AZ Tile, after which they were supposed to deliver the slab to the granite fabricator. I had the specific slab number written down and a receipt of my payment. Three weeks later when I arrived at the fabricators to commence the approval of the templating on the slab, I discovered the slab had not been delivered. My general contractor called AZ Tile, who told him it was still at their warehouse, however, my general contractor was told I purchased slab #15, which is incorrect. I purchased slab #12. The computer at AZ Tile showed that I had purchased slab #12, but it had been changed in the computer by an employee of AZ Tile to slab #15. AZ Tile told me they broke slab #12 and substituted slab #15, without my knowledge or approval. This is not in the sales contract. The sales contract does not state they can switch slabs for the customer. I viewed slab #15 and it was unusable; it had very large cracks in the middle. It was substandard. AZ Tile agreed verbally to me that this slab is substandard and not worth more that $150 and that AZ Tile would sell me this slab for $150 if I wanted it and would refund my original purchase price from slab #12. I asked AZ Tile to refund my purchase price of slab #12 and to find me a suitable replacement. They declined to refund the purchase price. AZ Tile agreed to provide me a credit of $250. I accepted. I found another slab at AZ Tile to replace the broken slab.Desired Settlement: I ask AZ Tile to: 1) Explain in detail what happened when they broke my slab and why I was not notified. 2) Apologize for their unethical business practices, and for lying to me in a written email. 3) Refund the entire remainder of the purchase price of my slab, minus the $250 credit.

Review: Granite was installed improperly and they refused to correct it.Desired Settlement: To replace the granite and install it correctly.
