Review: I went into the office to book a hot air balloon trip. I specifically stated I wanted to be close to the red rocks. The firm is a timeshare operation (I was unaware initially) and apparently only deals with a company that offers a kickback. The agent at the center told me all the companies launch from the same spot. I paid full price (refused a timeshare presentation) under the understanding the balloon companies all offered the same trip. (This office only books with one company). On the day of the trip I watched the other company launch at the red rocks and fly near there for about 30 minutes. The company Arizona Tourism Center ([redacted]) booked launched miles from the rocks and never got closer. The agent lied about the balloons launching in the same spot. As a result I had an unsatisfying $440 trip over scrub while watching the other balloon exactly where I wanted to be.Desired Settlement: Refund me the $440 for trip I did not want. This was a waste of time and money as now I need to go to the other balloon company and pay $440 to get the trip I want and originally asked for.

Review: On vacation is Florida we were sold a Resort to use all over the world where we want to go. At the time of purchase the sales guy said that we could use our points that we purchased for the room, . Sales person said I can purchase air fair, and or a car rental with these points. Coming back home to Houston, Texas we had paid a resort for 2580 dollars. Then I called the service center main offices are in Arizona. I wanted to book my travel resort and it turns out that we cannot purchase air flight tickets or car rental. In the mail we even received papers of examples of things that we could buy with our points. The papers that we received as members is that we can buy flight tickets and hotel. Then when I call the Arizona center they refuse to redeem those points and give us air fair even though the paper says it does. We are also limited to the places we can go. I don't even know who lied the sales person or the Diamond call center in Arizona. Eitherway I paid a lot of money and I want my money back because they are not honoring what they promised in the papers or verbally. Please help.Desired Settlement: I paid a total 2580 US dollars for a resort all over the world with flight included as an option. I cant go all over the world or I cant even buy tickets to fly.

Response:

This guest actually purchased a sampler package with us which does not entitle them to the same things that full club membership does. Our manager in Orlando was reaching out to her to explain the differences between full club membership and the sampler program. This was sold to her in Orlando and she only called the Arizona tourism center to try and use her sampler points for airfare. This is not the number she would call and should be speaking with our reservations department not our tourism center in Arizona.

Hope this helps.
