I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,

[redacted]'s account of the facts are misleading and inaccurate. He initially agreed to accept return of the vehicle when I notified him in writing that the vehicle was not as advertised and was requesting full refund of purchase price and cost of shipping.  He reneged when I informed him that I had arranged transportation back to him that Thursday. At his insistence, I then paid to have the vehicle inspected by a certified Porsche mechanic because he promised to consider reimbursement of all expenses required to make the vehicle a safe daily driver (which is the conversation WE DID HAVE) prior to me signing the purchase order and and forwarding funds via my bank USAA.  Once the inspection began, I realized it was in everyone's best interest to only communicate with [redacted] in writing because he was deflecting blame for the condition of the vehicle and disavowing any responsibility for selling a vehicle that was not as advertised. The inspection came back form the certified Porsche mechanic at Mirage International recommending replacement of transmission and other critical mechanical parts that would be required in order for the vehicle to pass CA inspection, required licensing.  The only offer I got from [redacted] in writing was for $1500.00.  (Note: I can provide documented evidence of our conversations, phone calls, and estimate/inspection per Mirage International.  I requested a copy of [redacted]'s pre-sale inspection of the vehicle. He never produced it.)  In conclusion, if the vehicle was as [redacted] reported with only minor repairs required, he would have accepted the vehicle back and negotiated a buy-back with me . He didn't because he knew he scammed me and would not be able to find another victim so easily.)
