Arizona's All About Blinds & Shutters

Review: We purchased plantation shutters for our home and were guaranteed lifetime warranty. The wood panels on one of our large shutters is warped. The owner of this company, [redacted], has been contacted ten times to attempt to resolve this issue. He eventually agreed to replace the shutter after multiple discussions and coming to our house to look at the faulty shutter. At this time he stated that someone would be in contact with us from the shutter manufacturer to come replace the shutter. After two months of waiting with no response from this company, he was contacted again and informed us that he is no longer working with the shutter manufacturer and could no longer replace our shutter. He did not refund the money for the shutter so that a new one can be purchased, or offer any type of compensation for this faulty shutter.Desired Settlement: We would like to be refunded the money we paid for this shutter so that we can purchase a new shutter.

The [redacted]'s purchased shutters January of 2012 and everything was fine and they paid for their shutters in full. Three years later she calls back and says she does not like what she ordered on her sliding door and wants a different design. I meet with her and told her that she received what she ordered and that if she wanted something different I would be happy to replace it and do it at my cost. She did not like that response so a few weeks later she calls up and says that her shutter panel is warped and since we have to replace it can we replace it with the new design. I again go to her home to inspect the shutter and can not find any warping that is out of the normal specs. She still does not like the answer so she wants to speak to the shutter manufacture who comes to the home and inspects the shutter and can not find anything wrong with it also. He tells her he would rebuild it the way she wants at his cost which is lees than my cost but she does not like what she originally ordered and wants a new shutter in a different design and not have to pay for it. We delivered what she ordered , there is nothing wrong with it. If she wants something different than what she ordered we are happy to replace it and do it for cost, not for free as she wants. We have been to her home on multiple occasions to try to resolve this issue and am not sure what else I can do.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The response from this business is not accurate. The initial contact with the owner was to report warping of the shutter and was a request for the company to replace the shutter. The suggestion for a different design came from the manufacturer in an effort to prevent the same problem from occurring again. When we were told we would have to pay another $600 to replace the faulty shutter with a new shutter of a different design I told [redacted] that we would just replace it with the original design, which is supposed to be covered under warranty. The manufacturer did find that the shutter was warped when he came out to inspect it. [redacted] told us that he is no longer working with the shutter manufacturer, and is now ordering all his shutters from China,, and told us that the new shutter would not match the rest of the shutters in our home. I am requesting a refund for the faulty product.

The [redacted]s bought their shutters in 2012. Three years later she calls and says that she wants a different design on her shutters and wants us to replace them for free since we did not do it the way she wanted in the first place. She said that her shutters were warped so we went out to her house to look at them and there was nothing wrong with them. I had the manufactures go out and look at them and they could find nothing wrong with them. We never suggest a different design for her shutters because what she has is the best design. There is nothing wrong with her shutters and if she wants something different than what she has were were willing to do it for the $600.00 which is 1/2 of the original cost.I am still confused because she told me she was going to work with the manufacture on this and I have been told by the manufacture that they have replaced her shutters already, so I'm not sure whats she wants us to do

Very happy with my blinds and service

Larry [redacted] business was recommended to me by my son. He has had two homes built and had shutters installed by this business and was pleased with the quality, price and installation. I'm elated! Sales call was on weekend as Larry was heading for a camping trip and stopped in [redacted] to measure and give a bid for new home. Paid 1/2 up front, 6 weeks as stated done and ready for install. Quick install, everything fit perfect. No tweaking required. Was charged a trip charge which was also quoted for being 75 miles from Phoenix. He outbid a local company with the trip charge by far. And his work was superb! Even our builder thought we couldn't have done better with quality and matching our wood trim work and installation.

[redacted] came knocking on my door one day and gave me my estimate for blinds and shutters. I compared with other "well known" suppliers and [redacted] was hands down the least expensive. His wood shutters are made in USA and were installed and made faster than the 6 weeks given time. I would highly recommend his service and knowledge of blind and shutters in Arizona.

This is the best company in Arizona for blind, shutters and sun screens! I have used this company on two different occasions and can't say enough about the quality and professionalism I've received. Horrible experience. Failed to show up twice for installation and to fix a issue. Shutters do not fit in window sill. I had read a bunch of reviews all positive so figured couldn't go wrong. Big mistake would never recommend company.
