A plumber was called to fix a dishwasher problem when he discovered a dripping pipe. He fixed the pipe and proceeded to say he thought the water damage could be extensive. He then suggested we call Arizona Restoration to assist with the damage. The plumber made the call and two men from Arizona Restoration were at our door in a very short time. I had expected the company to call me and set up a time to come and give me an estimate. They assisted in calling our insurance company. After the plumber was finished with his business the men from Arizona restoration went to their truck and brought in an air cleaner and dehumidifier. We used the machines over night. The next day we didn't think the damage was anything near what they led us to believe. We called Arizona Restoration to remove the machines and asked for an estimate. Their estimate was $2371.81. We declined their service and canceled the insurance claim. Arizona Restoration picked up the machines the next day. We then received a bill of $876.62 for use of the machines for 24 hours. We had the damage under the sink repaired for less than $500 by another individual. We believe the bill for the machines was excessive. I also believe the plumber and Arizona Restoration have a working relationship that sets up business for each other.
