Review: Ark Contracting provided us with a 5 year warranty on work performed in the home. The project involve repairing a pipe that was leaking in the shower. It appears like the same pipe is leaking and we have contacted them to have them honor their workmanship and the contractual warranty. They are dragging their feet and it appears like they are attempting to wait until the warranty ends so that they do not have to perform the work, because of course they will not be getting paid for it as it is a failure of their own workmanship that has continued the leak. Regardless, it has been a month since we first contacted them to honor their contractual warranty and they have failed to do so.Desired Settlement: They absolutely must come and honor their warranty and fix the leak.

We never said we would not guarantee the work stipulated in the contract written at the time. We have been in constant contact with your spouse since you contacted us originally.

We have contacted our Insurance Company are filing a claim to make the necessary repairs. We can not control the time it takes the Insurance Company to start and complete the claims process.

The original work was not repairing a pipe. It was re-building a leaking shower pan built by others. The work was insurance claim made by you.

You were happy with the work we completed in 09’ for your home which was remodeling the basement only. You had someone with a lower bid finish the drywall, trim and paint. We performed the repair of the shower pan (which was built by others), because we were working in the home at the time.

I am rejecting this response because: The 2009 bit is just a shot across the bow and it is false. No other company did any other work in my home. Though I was initially satisfied with the work, that does not overcome my current dissatisfaction or their current unacceptable behavior. A company is only as good as its warranty and it's willingness to make its wrongs right. As far as I am concerned Ark is not doing such.
